Federal Judge Orders Investigation into Obama Administration’s Illegal Amnesty

On Monday, a Texas judge who temporarily blocked Barack Obama’s illegal executive amnesty determined to postpone his final ruling on the matter in order to investigate how the administration was able to hide giving 100,000 illegal immigrants three-year amnesties.

US District Judge Andrew Hanen is determined to find out whether or not the attorneys that represented the Obama administration knew about the illegal actions and if he determines they did, they could face being disbarred or worse.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

“Due to the seriousness of the matters discussed therein, the Court will not rule on any other pending motions until it is clear that these matters, if true, do not impact the pending matters or any rulings previously made by this Court,” wrote Judge Hanen on Monday.

He then set a hearing for the State’ Motion for March 19 and warned the defendants to be prepared to “fully explain to this Court all of the matters addressed in and circumstances surrounding the Defendants’ Advisory filed on March 3, 2015.”

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, along with 26 governors and attorneys general issued a motion following the caving of Republican leadership in passing a 2015 budget bill that fully funded Obama’s illegal amnesty.

In a statement on Thursday, Paxton wrote, “In an apparent attempt to quickly execute President Obama’s unlawful, unconstitutional amnesty plan, the Obama Administration appears to have already been issuing expanded work permits, in direct contradiction to what they told a federal judge previously in this litigation. The circumstances behind this must be investigated, and the motion we seek would help us determine to what extent the Administration might have misrepresented the facts in this case.”

The states joining Texas in the fight against the illegal amnesty are: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.

The judge has already taken steps to block any further advancement of Obama’s amnesty after determining that he was in violation of the federal government’s rule-making process.

According to the Daily Caller, “The two-part amnesty provide residency, work permits, tax rebates and membership in the Social Security system to at least four million illegals who have children have citizenship or legal residency. It would also provide work-permits to roughly 1 million younger illegals who were brought into the United States by their parents, even though millions of Americans are unemployed, and Americans’ wages have been flat since 2000.”

In December, U.S. District Court Judge Arthur Schwab ruled that Obama had acted unconstitutionally following his speech on executive amnesty.

Steven Ahle points out that Obama is not only facing a judge with “guts and courage of his convictions,” who “Obama and his minions have not been able to shake,” but also faces a second problem.

“The second problem facing Obama is that when a decision is reached, he can’t judge shop,” Ahle wrote. “Former attorney general and current Governor of Texas, Greg Abbott had the foresight to file the suit within the boundaries of the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.  It is the most conservative of the 9 appeals courts.  Assuming that the Fifth Circuit Court denies Obama’s appeal, the case would then go before the US Supreme Court.”

Indeed, it does appear that Texas has set their ducks in a row and have thought ahead in the matter. Once Hanen rules in the matter, it could mean that those 100,000 work permits get revoked and the legal fees of the 26 states are reimbursed. While both outcomes would be good, the bad news is that the people would pay for it, not Obama, the weak Congress or anyone carrying out the illegal actions.

This is not the first time the Obama administration has been embroiled in breaking the law. There have been numerous that expose this administration as the most corrupt administration in American history. Among those rulings have been:

So far, nothing has been done in any of the cases above. Not one person has lost their job nor has justice been served.

Certainly, there is much more, but I think the point has been made. The more difficult issue to deal with is that a corrupt Congress has not issued one article of impeachment against Obama, not one. In fact, in many cases they have only conducted investigations and provided rhetoric, but no resolve. Even now, a Republican-controlled Congress continues to aid and abet the criminal-in-chief. What is America to do? What will she do?
