Bruce Jenner: Courageous or Shameless?

With a Vanity Fair magazine cover and an upcoming reality series, “I am Cait,” Bruce Jenner is attempting to transform himself from a weak man into a “courageous” woman. He’s got a lot of help.

Jenner is set to star in a reality series, “I Am Cait,” scheduled to begin airing this summer on E!

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

VH1 “The Gossip Table” host Rob Shuter told the New York Daily News, “If the stars align, she could be worth $500 million in the next five to 10 years. Caitlyn is going to be a pioneer.”

Hearing how Jenner may cash in on his sad attempt to change his gender makes me think of Jesus’ admonition, “What profiteth a man if he gains the whole world but loses his soul?”

The transgender movement is on the rise. Popular shows like Amazon Studios’ “Transparent” are pushing the cause to the front.

Jazz Jennings, a 14-year-old girl, has an upcoming reality show (“All That Jazz”) on TLC. The show will follow her life as a transgender high-school girl.

Corporations are jumping into the transgender promotion game. Jazz has become one of the faces of Johnson & Johnson’s Clean & Clear skin care line.

Last Monday, Jenner broke Obama’s record for the fastest Twitter account to reach one million followers, accomplishing the feat in just four hours. (It took Obama five.)

Many who promote evil are well compensated in this world.

Yet four months ago, a woman died after Bruce Jenner rear-ended her with his Cadillac Escalade. He is facing possible jail time if convicted of a crime, and a wrongful death lawsuit.

Now Jenner and his media cheerleaders are attempting to change the way many view him – from a weak man into a courageous woman.

But is the man calling himself “Caitlyn” really courageous?

I do not see a courageous woman. I see a weak, pathetic, shameless man. Jenner has no shame about being wrong. Once a person gets rid of the shame in his or her life, there is no limit to the destruction they are capable of.

The Deceiver’s game is to make us believe that the abnormal is normal, that we’re “being ourselves” when we give in to what in reality is an evil identity making a home inside of us.

A man changing his body into a woman’s body will not solve his inner conflict. Being a man is about much more than the appearance of the body. And changing the body does not make a man a woman.

Author and speaker Walt Heyer has changed sexes twice and says the transgender movement has left a trail of misery in its wake.

“The surgery fixed nothing – it only masked and exacerbated deeper psychological problems,” Heyer wrote in a recent article. “If more people were aware of the dark and troubled history of sex-reassignment surgery, perhaps we wouldn’t be so quick to push people toward it.”

Others have found a similar dissatisfaction with sex-change surgeries, but you won’t see them with their own series on E! any time soon.

I recently spoke with my good friend, Dennis Prager, about this issue. He said to me that Bruce Jenner portrayed himself as a transgendered sex object, and changing the outside cannot change the inside. He also mentioned that prestigious Johns Hopkins Hospital no longer does gender reassignment surgeries due to the high incidence of patient unhappiness and suicide after procedures.

Though Bruce Jenner exclaims, “I’m the new normal!,” and the cultural elites strive to create momentum for their transgender cause, the reality is that they’re a tiny percentage of our population. Why are Americans going along with this?

My radio producer asked me on air this week, “What would you say to Bruce Jenner if he asked your opinion on what he should do?”

I said that he should face the wrong that’s within him. He should look at himself to see what brought all this on. What did he overreact to in life? What made him attract a spirit, like this spirit that makes him feel like a woman? I would tell him to go within and watch so he can repent and get over whatever caused him to overreact. He needs to forgive whomever tempted him to experience that overreaction. And then he’ll be fine. He just needs to see that it is something he needs to overcome. And God will do the rest.

The world won’t tell us to overcome. Instead, it encourages us to get deeper into our sin, thereby leading us to destruction. This is why Christ said we must overcome the world.

Transgenderism is just a piece of the “wide road that leads to destruction.” There is a way out – there is always a way out, for anyone in despair seeking to be free of inner conflict. And the only surgery that’s required is spiritual.
