You Knew It Was Coming: Racist NAACP Calls for Removal of Confederate Generals from Stone Mountain

The attack on the South is orchestrated and contrived. There is no way that businesses like Amazon, to elected officials to open Marxists and racists such as the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (They aren’t for the advancement of anyone but Blacks) could be doing what they are doing all by themselves. Following the limp-wristed removal of the Confederate battle flag from the South Carolina capitol grounds by Governor Nikki Haley (R), that removal of the Dukes of Hazzard and the move by Memphis to dig up the bones of Confederate General Nathan Bedford Forrest and his wife, the NAACP is now calling for Stone Mountain to be liberated of the image of Confederate Generals on it.

WSBTV reports:

The Atlanta chapter of the NAACP officially called for the elimination of all symbols of the Confederacy from Stone Mountain.

NAACP’s Richard Rose says the time to move is now, but admits it may be a steep slope to climb.

The organization issued a statement calling for the removal of all symbols of the Confederacy from the park.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

“My tax dollars should not be used to commemorate slavery,” Rose told WSBTV.

He added that men like Jefferson Davis, Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson, “need to go. They can be sand-blasted off, or somebody could carefully remove a slab of that and auction it off to the highest bidder.”

Tax dollars? Surely you jest Mr. Rose!

The NAACP is a tax exempt organization that claims to be nonpartisan, but have you ever seen them side with Republicans? Not once. In fact, in 2001, The Washington Times reported, “Conservative critics question its claim to nonprofit status, arguing that the exemption shelters its $14 million annual budget from being taxed, and note that in the most recent presidential campaign the NAACP, which once derided big money as a corrupting influence, established two independent fund-raising organizations to conduct the kind of political warfare it once denounced.”

“The NAACP National Voter Fund and Americans for Equality drew on a combined $10 million to finance get-out-the-vote efforts and issue ads that energized Democratic voters,” the report continued.

The report also went on to point out:

With 500,000 members nationwide, the NAACP, based in a multistory, red-brick building in the northern suburbs of Baltimore, was established in 1909 under the leadership of W.E.B. DuBois. It receives funds from membership fees and private donations.

With 75 employees at its Baltimore headquarters, the NAACP maintains a legislative bureau in the District and a network of 2,200 branch offices in 50 states, Japan and Germany, which are divided into seven regions and governed by a national board of directors.

The NAACP’s Legal Defense and Educational Fund, which has been an independent organization since 1957, is based in New York City and declared net assets of $39.2 million on its 1999 tax form. The fund spends much of its resources on civil rights-related lawsuits.

The association’s Special Contribution Fund is a separate trust created in 1964 to collect tax-deductible contributions for the organization. The fund’s tax-deductible grants and contributions support a variety of NAACP programs.

NAACP President Kweisi Mfume, a former Democratic congressman from Baltimore, was unanimously elected by the 64-member board of directors in December 1995. At the time, the NAACP was struggling against revelations of financial mismanagement and accusations of sexual harassment.

So, what’s all this about taxes Mr. Rose? I think a thorough investigation into the activities and money of the NAACP is warranted by a group outside of the federal government.

The NAACP has long bullied the South. First it was the removal of the Confederate flag from the top of the SC State House. They threatened a ban. Had I been governor, I would have told them to ban South Carolina as we wouldn’t want their racist backsides in our state in the first place, but political correctness won out, just as it did with not so conservative Nikki Haley last week.

If anyone needs blasting, it is racist members of the NAACP like Mr. Rose. He continues to live in a time that he never lived. The man has never been a slave. He knows nothing of it. In fact, he knows nothing of real history, except the indoctrination of the Northern propaganda that he has swallowed hook line and sinker.

It would probably be best if the NAACP focused on its own house and cleaned out the riff raff in it first before attempting to rewrite history.

I think it’s high time the people of Georgia went and protested the NAACP and drove them out of their state for the good of the people. They bring absolutely nothing good to the community. Everything they engage in is filled with vitriol and seeks to provoke the people. I’m guessing by the use of their 501 c (4) status, they are engaging in corruption as well. Every state would do well to uproot every chapter of the NAACP from their sovereign countries.
