Ben Carson is taking a pretty strong stand against Islam and that’s a good thing to see from anyone. In a post on his website, the GOP presidential candidate is saying that it is time the Internal Revenue Service take away the Council on Islamic-American Relations’ (CAIR) tax-exempt status because of their violation of IRS rules.
“The Council on Islamic-American Relations (CAIR), a U.S. Muslim group, recently demanded that I withdraw as candidate for the 2016 presidential race,” the statement on the website reads. “By doing so, the organization has brazenly violated IRS rules prohibiting tax-exempt nonprofits like CAIR to intervene in a political campaign on behalf of—or in opposition to—a candidate.”
And what is Dr. Carson’s evidence of these violations? This video:
In the video, CAIR founder Nihad Awad said, “Not long ago, some people taught that a Catholic cannot be a president, that an African-American cannot be president. They were wrong then and they are wrong now.”
The clip then fast forwards to Awad saying, “We ask Mr. Ben Carson to withdraw from the presidential race because he’s unfit to lead because his views are in contradiction with the united States Constitution.”
So, here we have a man from a designated terror group, which is a Muslim Brotherhood front group, which has as its goals the destruction of America, claiming that Ben Carson should get out of the presidential race because he doesn’t believe a Muslim should be president. Awad claims that Carson is in contradiction with the US Constitution, while his organization violates the rules of the IRS, attacks the First Amendment rights of American citizens when it comes to Bible studies and seeks to implement Islamic thought into public schools. Mr. Awad’s hypocrisy is glaring considering his organization is involved in money laundering out of the US Capitol.
CAIR was named an unindicted co-conspirator in our nation’s largest terror funding operation. CAIR, along with others, including the Islamic Society of North America co-conspired to funnel millions of dollars through the largest charity in the united States, the Holy Land Foundation, to the Islamic terror group Hamas.
Carson also pointed out the above information about CAIR and added, “This is not the first time that CAIR has disrespected U.S. laws or America. It has previously lost its tax-exempt status by failing to file federal taxes three years in a row.”
“The IRS should immediately revoke CAIR’s tax-exempt status,” says Carson. “Under the Obama administration, the IRS has systematically targeted conservative nonprofit groups for politically motivated audits and harassment. The agency should now properly do its job and punish the real violators of America’s laws and regulations.”
Don’t hold your breath Dr. Carson, these are the same American enemies that are Hussein Obama’s allies, but I applaud the fact that Carson is taking this firm stand. Well done!
His statement also calls on citizens to sign a petition to voice the demand to remove the nonprofit status of CAIR. If you are interested in signing the petition, click here.
