Black community still agrees with Bill Cosby

In 2004, Bill Cosby gave a speech that has become known as the Pound Cake speech. It is still rumbling across America.

Cosby gave the speech during an NAACP awards ceremony in Washington, D.C., to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Brown v. Board of Education Supreme Court decision.

There’s a 3-minute excerpt that you can listen to in the link below, as well as the full transcript.

You will hear how Bill Cosby had the NAACP convention attendees on their feet because he told the truth!

But the national black liberal establishment was furious.

Black liberals wrote books criticizing Cosby for “airing dirty laundry.”

Elites to the airwaves to criticize Cosby for being insensitive about the poor — and called him names to shun him from the black community.

That speech, which I believe speaks to all Americans regardless of race, shows the absolute divide between the national black liberal establishment and African Americans who suffer because of the policies they push that break apart families and keep people poor.

In the wake of Ferguson, we need to remember that solutions pushed by the liberal black establishment simply do not work!

Bill Cosby’s speech will remain relevant until we limit government and depend on personal responsibility.

Let’s make sure every American continues to hear what the NAACP and the liberal elite wishes would just go away, even a decade later, because it exposes their policies of failure.

March on!
