Two medevac helicopters are arriving on the scene to assist. One of the crewmembers died at the scene and two were flown to the Baltimore Trauma Center, according to a report from TheBayNet.com.
Elizabeth Willing and Kat McCurdy witnessed the crash while they were kayaking in Breton Bay.
“We saw three helicopters,” Willing told TheBayNet.com. “One of them was lagging behind the other two. It started spinning. At first, we thought it was doing tricks.”
“It disappeared behind the tree line and then we heard a big bang,” McCurdy added.
