Black Preacher Preaches Truth to Sodomites – Then Blasts Preachers for Not Doing the Same

Superintendent Earl Carter gave a message regarding those that practice sodomy and preachers who won’t speak out on it. I don’t know his theology, but at least on this subject he is right on and when he begins to let it fly, notice that he doesn’t leave out pastors who allow such perversion to go on inside their churches. The point of his message is to clearly pull back that curtain on the delusion that is covering America regarding sodomy and those who practice it. “You’re perverted, You’re Lost,” was what this pastor said.

“I’ve got something for all these homosexuals just walking around here with your pocketbooks, with your tight pants and your bow tie… and you’re walking like a girl,” the preacher said. “You need deliverance!”

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

He then said that he would tell those engaging in this particular behavior what was wrong with them.

“You are walking around here like a sissy and you don’t want someone to say something about you,” he continued. “Well, I’m going to say something about you. You’re perverted and you’re lost. There is no anacoenosis.”

He called sodomites a “hybrid conundrum” and full of confusion.

But then he turned to the preachers and said that some of them were part of the problem because they put “sissies up there doing praise and worship.”

“Do you know what that is?” he asked. “That is insidious preaching!”

The preacher said these preachers were merely setting themselves up to be ambushed. He then pointed out that the priesthood in the Old Testament faced a similar circumstance. Though it wasn’t concerning sodomy, it did concern not giving people the truth.

He made reference to the Book of Hosea, chapter 4:

Hear the word of the LORD, ye children of Israel: for the LORD hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land. By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery, they break out, and blood toucheth blood. Therefore shall the land mourn, and every one that dwelleth therein shall languish, with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven; yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away. Yet let no man strive, nor reprove another: for thy people are as they that strive with the priest. Therefore shalt thou fall in the day, and the prophet also shall fall with thee in the night, and I will destroy thy mother. My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. (Emphasis mine)

He then lit into the preachers, which are like those spoken about in 2 Peter 2 and the Book of Jude.

“You are a cheap preacher,” he blasted. “They can just pay you off with a car, some suits and some alligator shoes. You’ll be just like Ray Charles and his assistant pastor is Stevie Wonder. You don’t want to see nothing! All you want is toys… You the candyman!”

He went on to say why he called these preachers “candymen.”

“Cause the candyman, makes the world taste good.”

Christians are instructed not to love the world nor the things in it (1 John 2:15). The reason is that if we love the world, then the love of the Father is not in us. If you find yourself hating the man’s message concerning what God calls an abomination, then perhaps you should check yourself, since Jesus said, “If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.”

Notice who the true haters are. They are those that despise the Word of God. Those that truly love communicate the truth God has revealed in that Word. So let me ask you Christian, who comes to this site and reads these words and you get upset and angry at them, do you love the world? Do you not want to offend with the truth? Have you been hated by the world?

The preacher continued, “How much is that preacher in the window? Just give him some tithes, buy him a car. You’re cheap!”

“You won’t tell them the truth because you want the numbers,” he added. “You know who you are? You are Bishop Nimrod (Gen. 10). You’re pastoring a Babylonian Church with a WalMart marketing system that cuts the price to keep the people coming.”

He concluded, “The wicked struts, when the vilest of men are promoted (Ps. 12:8). They see these sissies up here leading praise and worship and they say it’s alright. You just gave them a license to sin.”

“And God gonna get you…,” he warned. “What about denying accolades, and honor, and prestige and be like Jesus?… Jesus gonna get you!”

The desire of every preacher of the Word of God should be to see men repent towards God and turn from sin. It is also his place to call out false teachers. I think in this short clip, this preacher has faithfully upheld both.

It might also interest people to know that Carter was then openly rebuked for his message by the presiding Bishop of the Church of God.]

According to EEW Magazine:

The Presiding Bishop of the Church of God In Christ has openly rebuked the preacher who spoke against gays and apologized to a young man claiming deliverance from homosexuality.

On Sunday, Nov. 16, from the pulpit of his California church, the 74-year-old leader held nothing back.

“On Saturday evening, November the 8th, one of our more than 15 speakers used terms and spoke in a way that was offensive and inappropriate,” said the Senior Pastor of West Angeles COGIC in Los Angeles, reading a prepared statement.

The Bishop continued, “Though he alone is responsible for the nature and tone of his remarks, it was on my watch that this took place. Even though I was not present at the service on that night, as Presiding Bishop, I apologize for what seemed to be a harsh, uncompassionate, disrespectful spirit on the part of that speaker.”

The COGIC leader said Carter was wrong and failed to be compassionate and sensitive in his delivery. “We believe that we should reflect the love and compassion of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ in all that we do.”

Despite his disagreement with Carter’s approach, Blake made it clear that COGIC does not “in any way compromise our biblical position against same-sex unions or in favor of biblical teaching on matters of sexual conduct.”

Notwithstanding, said Blake, the church has an expectation that “clergy and laity will be civil and considerate as they speak to men and women regarding issues related to our Christian faith.”

Lack of civility online also led him to apologize to COGIC attendee Andrew Caldwell who, after feeling convicted by Carter’s sermon, went to the altar to be “delivered more” from feminine tendencies.

His exuberant testimony following prayer from Bishop Brandon Porter went viral and sparked “I’m Not Gay No More” parodies, song mixes and Internet memes.

“I also apologize to Andrew Caldwell, a young seeker for the Lord, who came forth and made statements on that night regarding his change of heart and his purpose in life,” said Blake. “His testimony literally went viral and it has brought upon him criticism and sardonicism.”

Though Caldwell has become a caricature and joke in many circles, Blake said, “We extend our love, our prayers and our support to that young man as he seeks to know God and to serve God. ”

Before moving on, Blake shared a word of advice concerning the church’s delivery of biblical truths. He said, we should do that in “humility,” otherwise, “we contradict the witness that we would strive to have to the world.”

Sadly, this bishop’s rebuke and apology to a convicted sinner reminds me of the words of Christ to the religious leaders of His day.

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! –Matt. 23:37

These are words not to every individual in Jerusalem, but to the religious leaders He just pronounced judgment upon. They stand as gatekeepers in the way of sinners who need to be saved from sin.

UPDATE: I found another video of Carter which started just before the one above and gave the context of what led him to these comments and that is self professed “Christians” who practice and continue to practice sin while they claim that they are Christ’s.
