Boom! Congressman issues Subpoena at Hearing to Obtain Full Investigation Case File for Hillary Clinton’s Illegal Email Server

On Monday, Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) issued a subpoena for the full investigation case file for Hillary Clinton‘s illegal email server to the acting assistant director for Congressional affairs, Jason Herring after Herring said he could not promise to deliver that file.

The subpoena came during the hearing in which Herring was being questioned.

Chaffetz, Chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, became aggravated at the stonewalling of the FBI in the probe of Mrs. Clinton’s illegal email server and failure to recommend criminal charges be filed against her.

Rep. Chaffetz said that the FBI had retained summaries of interviews, as well as unnecessarily censored documents that the FBI sent to Congress in August.

“We decide what’s relevant — not the Department of Justice, not the FBI,” said Chaffetz. “We are entitled to the full file.”

“Will the FBI provide the Congress with the full file with no redactions of personal identifiable information?” he asked Herring.

“I cannot make that commitment sitting here today,” Herring answered.

The obvious question is, why not? Is there not to be checks and balances in a government in a free society? How can one branch of government hide something from another branch when there is alleged criminal activity? Easy, they are not following the Constitution, and we are not living in a free society.

Chaffetz was obviously expecting the stonewalling and answered, shaking his head like he was saying “Oh no you didn’t!”, “Then I’m going to issue a subpoena, and I’m going to do it right now.”

Chaffetz had already signed the subpoena which demands all the 302s and the FBI’s full investigation file into Clinton.

“You can accept service on behalf of the FBI?” Chaffetz asked.

“Certainly,” replied Herring.

“You are hereby served,” said Chaffetz.

Now, will anything come of this? Who knows. I’m not going to hold my breath though.

We know that Chaffetz failed to get any substantive answers regarding Extortion 17 when he had the opportunity for a Congressional hearing. We also know that nothing has really come of the 5+ years investigation into Fast and Furious and the contempt of Congress charges against former Attorney General Eric Holder regarding Fast and Furious. On top of that, I have yet to see any impeachment charges for the myriad of crimes of Barack Hussein Obama Soetoro Sobarkah or any of those in his administration, including former Health and Human Secretary Kathleen Sebelius who was found to have violated federal law.
