The Council on American-Islamic Relations, a designated terror group, is calling on President-elect Donald Trump to cut his ties to Franklin Graham and inaugural prayers because they claim that Graham’s views are “ill-informed and extremist views are incompatible with the constitution.”
In a press release by the organization that was an unindicted co-conspirator in the biggest terror funding scheme in US history, they “called on President-elect Donald Trump to drop notorious Islamophobe Rev. Franklin Graham from the list of those invited to pray at the presidential inauguration.”
“If President-elect Trump truly seeks to unite our nation as he promised in his acceptance speech, he will limit the list of those offering prayers at the inauguration to religious leaders who work to bring us together, not to create divisions between faiths,” said CAIR National Executive Director Nihad Awad. “Rev. Graham’s ill-informed and extremist views are incompatible with the Constitution and with American values of religious liberty and inclusion.”
One could almost find this laughable if it were not reality. This is the same organization that is an indicted co-conspirator in the largest Islamic terror funding in US history. This is the same organization that continues to support Islamic supremacists like Dallas-Fort Worth CAIR Director Herman Mustafa Carroll, openly stated “If we are practicing Muslims, we are above the law of the land.”
According to a press release by the Islamic terror organization:
Graham, who has called Islam a “very evil and wicked religion” and claimed Muslims are “enslaved by Islam,” was once disinvited from a similar Pentagon event. He has claimed Islam is incompatible with “American values” and suggested that American mosques could be closed.
In a widely-circulated 2015 Facebook post calling to block the immigration of Muslims to America, Graham wrote in part that: “Every Muslim that comes into this country has the potential to be radicalized–and they do their killing to honor their religion and Muhammad.”
Responding to Graham’s anti-Muslim Facebook post, Bob Roberts Jr., pastor of NorthWood Church in Keller, Texas, said: “This is not ‘evangelical’ and even less evangelistic. I don’t want American Muslims to think we fear them or that they are our enemies.”
In a 2009 CNN interview, Graham stated in part: “[T]rue Islam cannot be practiced in this country. You can’t beat your wife. You cannot murder your children if you think they’ve committed adultery or something like that, which they do practice in these other countries. . .I don’t agree with the teachings of Islam and I find it to be a very violent religion.”
Well, Graham is right. Real, true Islam, the Islam practiced by Muhammad, should not be allowed in the States, or the world for that matter. Furthermore, he is correct that Islam is not compatible with American values.
America was founded upon Christian theology, morality and ethics. There is no denying that! America fought against Islamist supremacism, which is what CAIR promotes.
The most telling statement from CAIR is, “CAIR is America’s largest Muslim civil liberties and advocacy organization. Its mission is to enhance the understanding of Islam, encourage dialogue, protect civil liberties, empower American Muslims, and build coalitions that promote justice and mutual understanding.”
They are not a civil liberties organization. They are a MUSLIM CIVIL LIBERTIES AND ADVOCACY ORGANIZATION. In other words, CAIR is declaring openly that they are for civil liberties of Muslims, not anyone else, much like the racists NAACP organization is for Blacks, not anyone else.
While Franklin Graham and I would disagree on several things, one thing we agree on in the person of Jesus Christ and the fact that Islam is an undermining of the person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ. We agree that Islam cannot be trusted and should not be allowed to be practiced in the united States.
In fact, the united States should follow the United Arab Emirates’ move and designate these anti-American, demonic Islamic supremacists as terror organizations and eliminate them from our society.
