Former Subway spokesman Jared Fogle will plead guilty to charges of possession of child pornography on Wednesday.

Fox 59 reports:

Sources say Fogle will accept a plea deal Wednesday. The U.S. Attorney’s Office will hold a press conference Wednesday afternoon to discuss the deal and charges against Fogle.

Fogle’s attorney, Ron Elberger, had no comment in regards to the plea deal. He said any information regarding the charges would come from the attorney’s office. Elberger did say Fogle’s suspension with Subway continues.

Subway issued the following statement to FOX59 Tuesday:

“We have already ended our relationship with Jared and have no further comment.”

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Fogle’s home was searched by federal agents in July, following the arrest of former director of the Jared Foundation, Russell Taylor, in April.

Taylor attempted suicide in May. He was unsuccessful. Taylor was accused of not only possessing, but also producing child pornography. A search conducted at his home turned up more than 500 videos with images of child pornography.

It is unclear whether any of these same images and videos were retrieved from Fogle’s home.

Beyond the possession of child pornography is the disgraced Subway spokesman’s texts, which indicates that he may have been participating in sex with 16-year-old girls.

Business Insider reported:

According to the affidavit obtained by Business Insider, Fogle asked the former Subway franchisee in May 2008 to set up a meeting for him with her cousin. The cousin was underage at the time, according to the woman’s lawyer.

“When can we find a time for me to talk to your cousin?” Fogle asks in a message dated May 1, 2008.

“Any more news with your cousin?” he asks the following day. “Tell me what u think about when u think of the three of us all together???”

Earlier, in April, according to the affidavit, Fogle asked the woman, “How young would you like?… Would you want to have an adventure like that?”

On June 19, the lawyer says that Fogle again asked the woman to advertise herself on Craigslist. She responds: “Is this the same website you found that 16 year old girl you that you f*****? …I still can’t believe you only paid $100 for her.”

Fogle responds: “It was amazing!!!!”

She asks: “What part of her ad made you think she was selling sex?”

He says: “U will have to read them to see.”

Indiana is the same as my State of South Carolina. Sixteen-years-old is the age of consent. However, Jared is also married, which means he was engaging in adultery as well.

Fogle’s lawyer, Ron Elberger, would not comment on the plea deal, but said that any information on the issue would come from the US Attorney’s Office.

A press conference on Wednesday will allegedly provide more information.

Whether Fogle had a hand in the producing of the materials agents found in his home or not is unclear at this point. However, one cannot help but suspect that Fogle knew of what Taylor was doing since they both had child pornography in their homes. Those who do this to children and those who remain silent and lust over these children are worthy of the same fate.

“But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.” –Jesus in Matthew 18:6
