Donald Trump is really going for it.
On the same day that he made his historic visit to Mexico for a one-on-one tete-a-tete with Mexico’s President, Trump also continued to reach out to the African-American community. Mr. Trump has worked hard over the last few weeks to turn around his sputtering campaign and to soften his image among American voters. The polls seem to indicate that his strategy is working because, over the last week or so, every major poll has shown him climbing steadily, drawing ever nearer to his opponent, Hillary Clinton.
On Wednesday, he had a seemingly productive meeting with Mexico’s President Níeto before flying on to Washington State, where he once again entreated black America to give him their support.
“Black Lives Matter to Donald Trump…
McDonald writes that “Mr. Trump’s call to restore law and order recognizes the right of inner-city residents to enjoy the same freedom from fear that the rest of America now takes for granted.”
Freedom from violence is one of the great civil rights issues of our time. So too is the issue of school choice. What a difference it will make.
We will fight for the right of parents to send their kids to the school that they believe gives their kids the best shot at success.

It is the Democratic Party that is the party of slavery, the party of Jim Crow, the and party of [oppression]…
Nothing makes me more honored and proud than to be the nominee of Abraham Lincoln’s Republican Party and we’re gonna do a job.
Our party will fight to bring hope to every forgotten stretch of this country.
Once again, we will be One American Nation, One American Nation.
We will be One United People.
And we will have One Really Great Future again. Believe me.
