For those of you who do not think that our country is worth fighting for any more, let me remind you about William Wallace and his fight for freedom. He did not accept defeat and he eventually won his fight for freedom for Scotland, although he gave up his life to make it happen. America, you can do the same.
William Wallace was a Scottish man who did not want to fight. He wanted peace. However, Scotland was ruled by Edward Longshanks, the king of England, who was a tyrant that started taking over his country. Wallace wanted freedom for himself and his fellow country-men, but he knew to make that a reality, he would have to fight.
Although the king did many wicked things to him and his country, he never gave up and kept fighting. However, he faced opposition not only from Longhanks, but also from his own countrymen. They told him things like, “There is nothing we can do about it.”
But I say, “If God be for us who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31)
America has allowed more evil things to be done to, and in, our country than in Scotland, but it is not too late to fight for what is right. We still have the freedom to right the wrongs. Although America has allowed abortion, homosexuality etc…, our sons and our daughters fight unconstitutional wars, and much more, it is not too late to fight for freedom and restore America back to God!
God has given, and is giving, us a chance to fight for this country and we must not take it for granted. This is the greatest country in the world, but we have a lot of work to do. God is not just going to let the things you have allowed go unpunished, but there is still time to restore America (Leviticus 26:40-46)!
Have you ever heard that saying, “You don’t know what you got until it is gone”? How true it is. Foreigners come into this country because they know that we have the freedom to do what we want lawfully. They know that godly men established this nation as one nation under God; and because of that, they know that we are a blessed and free country.
Let’s not take advantage of the freedoms that we enjoy. They are blood bought.
If you truly love this country, and most importantly love God, you are going to fight for it (Matthew 22:37). It is as simple as that. Remember, “If God be for us, who can be against us!”
You need to repent and ask God to forgive you for what you have tolerated in this country (Jeremiah 29:11-13). Fight for the freedoms that you enjoy and do not take for granted the things you have been given (Luke 12:48). Remember, it is not enough to talk about the problem, but to do something about the problem! We can do this together!
Are You the One?
