In another tale that begs the question of why we promote the keeping and bearing of arms for unconstitutional agencies versus attacking the rights protected under the Second Amendment, a FBI employee has opened fire on local police in Michigan.

The local Fox affiliate reports:

Details are limited, but a man is accused of shooting at a Grand Rapids Police officer overnight Monday.

GRPD used Twitter to inform the public that a man had threatened people at the Centrepointe Mall location of Planet Fitness at 3681 28th Street SE.

They said he had shot at police but had been arrested.  GRPD have identified the suspect as an employee of the FBI and he is 35 years old.

GRPD later said the incident occurred around 1:18 a.m. when officers were called to the fitness center on reports of a man brandishing a gun inside. When a GRPD sergeant tried to contact the man, the man fired at him. The suspect was apprehended at gunpoint by officers in the parking lot.

Officers did not fire, and no one was injured in the incident.

The FBI has confirmed and records show that the suspect is an FBI agent, but declined to provide further comment.

According to the Detroit FBI:

The FBI takes allegations of misconduct very seriously.  We are aware of the matter involving the recent arrest of an FBI Special Agent and are fully cooperating with the Grand Rapids Police Department. This matter has been referred to the FBI’s Internal Investigations Section in Washington, DC, as well as the Department of Justice’s Office of Inspector General. Because this is an ongoing investigation, we will not comment further.

Yes, this is the same FBI that takes things so seriously that they let Hillary Clinton off the hook when they knew she broke federal law.

Why are we not hearing cries from the gun grabbers in this case? It’s because they want the guns in the hands of their pawns in government, not in the hands of the people/

The investigation into the incident is ongoing. Anyone with additional information is requested to call GRPD at 616-456-3400, or Silent Observer at 616-774-2345.
