Government as Originally Intended is not Bad!

Good government and bad government: I do not know if you know this, but government, as God intended, is not bad. Lots of people hate the government, but for the wrong reasons. It’s not the government itself that is bad. It is the people within the government who are corrupt that make it bad. The institution of government is good because it is God that ordained government (Exodus 18:21).

I was talking to a man once and I asked him what he thought about the government and he said in a nutshell, “Bad, people here hate the government!” In reply, I told this person that it is not the government that is bad, it is the people in it.

With the help of God, our Founding Forefathers created a government established on Christian principles (Exodus 20) that had good Christian men in it.

Here are some quotes from the Founding Fathers about our government.

“The Bible is the rock upon which our Republic rests.” -Andrew Jackson

“Religion and Morality are the essential pillars of civil society.” -George Washington

The PEOPLE in the government today are doing bad things. They are using tax dollars for evil things such as aborting babies, etc. And I add, you, America, are letting them do it!

America, listen carefully, you are the government. (Read the Declaration of Independence) The people in the government are there to represent you. That is why it is important for you to do your job and make sure you have the right people representing you.

Lots of people say, “Oh the government this and the government that.” What they are basically doing is complaining about what they tolerate because we are the government.

If your government is corrupt, that means the people are corrupt. Ultimately, the responsibility falls back on the American people for what they allow.

Always remember, you are the government! Do not complain about what you tolerate!
