Many have forgotten the fact that the Scriptures are the basis for Western Civilization; that all Europe and America based their civil and private lives on the teaching of the Bible. Being that this is irrefutable, there is no way we can teach many of the humanities without the Bible. Why did this person do this? Where did his idea come from? We seem to have forgotten that when we remove the motive for history, science, and even sociology, we leave gaping holes. But Idaho Republicans are seeking to fix that.
Christian News reports
Republicans in Idaho have proposed a resolution calling for support for using the Bible alongside public school curriculum.
The resolution will allow teachers to present, as a basis for events, Scripture. With the teaching of history and even science, the Bible can be pointed to and referenced. This is sure to make many angry, and there will be many seeking to sue. However, I hope this works and Idaho will stand strong. They seem to be off to a good start.

Resolution 2015-P20 was submitted by Idaho County Chairman Marge Arnzen, and uses state history as the basis of the motion.
“[I]n 1782, the U.S. Congress voted this resolution: ‘The Congress of the United States recommends and approves the Holy Bible for use in all schools,’ and authorized a loan of money to help the printing and distribution of 10,000 copies to be made available to the public primarily for public schools,'” it notes.
For many, the issue of forcing the Bible on the children will be the biggest problem. But, it seems that this is not that sort of issue. It has more to do with our history and less to do with religion.
“Therefore, be it resolved that the Idaho County Central Committee encourages the Idaho legislature to draft and support a bill stating that the Bible is expressly permitted to be used in Idaho public schools for reference purposes to further the study of literature, comparative religion, English and foreign languages, U.S. and world history, comparative government, law, philosophy, ethics, astronomy, biology, geology, world geography, archaeology, music, sociology, and other topics of study where an understanding of the Bible may be useful or relevant,” it reads.
All Christians should pray that this resolution becomes a bill and is passed into law. That God would bring this desire to fruition. Because, though this will not be the preaching of the Word or even Bible study, it will be good exposure to the Word. And we know that the Word in itself is enough.
So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it. – Isaiah 55:11
God will accomplish much with just His Word being read and referred to in class.
