Illiterate Americans Claim Lee Harvey Oswald Shot Jesus in the 1300s (Video)

Mark Dice is at it again, exposing the illiteracy of Americans and their history. Mark asks people what year approximately Jesus died, and if there were stricter gun control laws back then, and if that would have stopped Lee Harvey Oswald from shooting Jesus. Frankly, while it does make you chuckle at the stupidity, it also makes you wonder how long it will be till these people actually start pushing for an all-out ban on guns? I mean, if they don’t know history, then why would they see a need to keep and bear arms against tyrants who will manipulate them?

Take a look for yourself. It’s almost too incredible to believe, and I really want someone to tell me how Dice keeps a straight face.

While the people in the video seemed oblivious to who Jesus actually is (shame on the Church for that!) and who Lee Harvey Oswald was (shame on the indoctrination system for that!), it seems they at least understood one thing, and that is that if people want to get a gun, they’ll find a way to get a gun.

Several people, who were asked, didn’t even have a clue as to when Jesus died. They claimed He died in the 1300s! Does AD, which stands for the Latin phrase anno domini, which means “in the year of our Lord,” not mean anything to people? Do they not recall citing years before Christ as BC, which simply refer to the time “before Christ”?

Apparently none of them do have a clue, as one man answered that Jesus died in 500 BC! He then changed his answer to 500 AD.

The sad reality is that these people are the next generation and they don’t even know their own history! Even sadder is that they don’t seem to think that knowing history is important.

George Santayana famously quoted:

“Those who do not remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”

Indeed, those words seem to ring out concerning this generation in America who are ignorant of history.
