Jill Stein Not Getting Much Bang For Her Buck In Recount Effort

For some people, disappointment can turn us back. We see that what we had tried or hoped for is becoming impossible. We realize as the chips fall that they were never possible in the first place. As we often do, we misevaluated our chances, abilities or the situation itself and this realization cause us to give in to the inevitable.

This cannot be said of Jill Stein and her persistent effort to force a presidential recount. Even though Mrs. Stein was not close, coming in a distant fourth place, she is determined to get the recount.

Unfortunately, she is not the only nut that wants the votes recounted. She has managed to raise an unbelievable amount of money for this cause.

The New York Times reports:

Ms. Stein raised more than $7 million for the recount costs, as some supporters of Hillary Clinton have seen the effort as a last hope to change the outcome of the Nov. 8 election. Mrs. Clinton’s campaign has played a passive role in the process, acknowledging that the margins in the three states are too much to overcome.

If the Green Party candidate had only done so well at raising money for her own campaign, she might be seeking the recount to place her in the White House rather than carrying water of Hillary Clinton. The motive for this recount has to be found in the hope that Hillary would take the lead.  She has no chance of over taking Gary Johnson for third place.

Stein has not given up the fight despite the low results from the money she has been spending.

Billy Pen reveals:

The great Philadelphia recount has ended, and Hillary Clinton got five more votes than she had in her previous total.

This should be the wake-up call for Mrs. Stein. The fact that the numbers did not change in the Liberal town of Philly should make her see that her cause is hopeless. But, she has yet to throw in the towel.

Proving once again that you do not have to be wise to be in politics.
