Kim Davis and Curing the Soul of Man

Kim Davis, the clerk who stood against the sodomite mafia in black robes, is now free from prison. She will be back at work and the battle will be engaged once again. We should pray for the Sheriff of that county—that he would do his oath sworn duty before God and interpose on the behalf of Kim Davis, not allowing her illegal arrest and imprisonment again. We should pray that he understands that he owes no obedience to unlawful orders from the sodomite mafia.

Last week, we explored the roots of the Obergefell v. Hodges opinion and discovered they are deep and long. They trace back to a change in the view of what law is, from the Biblical absolutes which our Founders held to, and now, after the bloodless revolution, to the relativism of legal evolutionism today. The idea today is that law is continually evolving with the times, but the catch in this lie is that the only people who can and do bring about that evolution are graduates from law school (which means they have been thoroughly indoctrinated in the lies of unlaw—everything contrary to God’s Word) then those who have gone on to pass the bar exam and become attorneys so fully approved by that fraternity that they become the anointed ones who get to wear the black robes.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

These black-robed priests of the highest order are not elected and are generally accountable to no one at all. And in this new religion, whenever the highest of these high priests and priestesses spill ink on pieces of paper and propound whatever is in their benighted minds, we are all told to bow down very low and to recite the mantra, “This is now the law of the land, the Supremes have spoken.”

It is clear by now that the courts in our land look to the so called ‘science’ of psychology as the authority in decisions they make for our land. So we can see that the authorities behind those high priests wearing the black robes are actually the Psychologists. Last week, we also saw that the Obergefell v Hodges opinion was based, not on any facts, but on the political moves of the sodomite terrorists back in 1973. It was then that the Psychologists changed the sin God calls an abomination from the status of “mental illness” to something more innocuous and it is now exalted to the status of Holy Matrimony. What we need to understand is that Psychology is actually a separate religion–a new religion if you will. One of their own has freely admitted this. Paul Vitz wrote the book a few years back entitled, Psychology as Religion: The Cult of Self Worship (1994 2nd Ed.)

To understand the revolution that has occurred in our land and, even more importantly, to be an effective witness for Jesus Christ, we need to have answers to the false theology of Psychology. We will begin this morning to examine the claims of psychology in contrast to what the Word of God proclaims. As most Americans are on a spectrum of being heavily influenced by this religion or being totally persuaded of its truth claims, in order to serve as witnesses, we need to have a ready answer to this false religion. Let’s start by considering the following.

Identifying the problem all men face – Sin

  • Passing the buck – Psychology’s answer to the problem. It is fascinating to see that this response was exactly what happened when the first couple sinned in the Garden of Eden. Look at what Adam and Eve said when God confronted them with their sin.
    • I am a victim, someone else is to blame – Genesis 3:12-13 “And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat. And the Lord God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.” You can almost see Adam even blaming God, for after all it was God who gave him the woman. Adam clearly says I’m a victim, it’s not my fault, it’s the woman who You gave me.
    • Psychologists will ‘help me’ by identifying who is to blame. Let is contrast this with the truth given to us in the Bible.
  • The Biblical answer – All men must ultimately face the problem of their own sin and thus come to Recognizing and confessing ‘I am a sinner.’ In order to come to this realization one must start with …
    • The Fear of God – understanding there is a righteous, almighty God whose wrath I deserve for my rebellion against Him and for my violations of His Holy Law.
