Attorney, author and emeritus law professor at Harvard University Alan Dershowitz said the United States needs to “threaten to defund the United Nations” on a radio program on Wednesday as he discussed the recent United Nations security resolution which criticized Israeli settlements.
“There is an automatic anti-Israel bias at the UN. Consider the following story — this happened less than a year ago — the head of the UN Ban Ki-moon put Saudi Arabia on a blacklist of countries that mistreat children during wartime and the head of the Saudis called Ban Ki-moon and said unless you take us off of the blacklist we will stop sending money to the UN, and Ban Ki-moon said alright and he took them off the blacklist,” Dershowitz told the host on AM 970’s “The Joe Piscopo Show.”
“So money counts at the UN. And so what the United States should do now is threaten to defend the United Nations unless the United Nations stops showing this incredible bias against Israel,” he added. “Forty resolutions this year against Israel, four against the entire rest of the world at a time when Syria is imploding when Russia took over the Crimea.”
“So many violations of human rights are occurring in the world,” he continued. “Forty resolutions against Israel, only four against the rest of the world. That shows you something about the bias of that UN building.”
Barack Hussein Obama Soetoro Sobarkah has stabbed Israel in the back over and over, including with this latest UN resolution, which Israel claims to have evidence that the Obama administration was behind.
Of course, Dershowitz is Jewish so I understand what he is saying here, and I don’t actually disagree with him. However, the united States should defund and withdraw from the United Nations, as well as kick them off our soil for far more reasons than what they are doing to Israel.
In fact, I wonder why most Americans don’t back the bills to get us out of the United Nations simply because they are a corrupt, anti-American, pro-one world government organization.
Each year, bills are proposed to do just that and end American dollars going to a globalist organization that seeks to usurp national sovereignty of countries and control their resources through programs like Agenda 21 and 2030 Agenda and Vision 2050.
While some have considered the resolutions against Israel a big deal for alleged “biblically prophetic” reasons, the reality is that they are an ally and their national sovereignty and right to defend themselves should be supported. There is nothing biblically prophetic about this resolution nor the modern state of Israel.
The true Israel are the people of God, the true children of Abraham by faith.
I do believe the reference to blessing and cursing Israel is often taken out of context. The specific reference to that is to Abraham himself (Genesis 12:3). However, we are told in the New Testament that Israel is not a mass of land, but rather a people, most specifically they are those who have the faith of Abraham (Galatians 3:7) and those who are in Christ are the seed of Abraham (Galatians 3:29). This is nothing new as Old Testament Israel was also composed of those who did not necessarily follow a specific pedigree. All attempts to say that those who openly reject the Messiah, the Lord Jesus as having come in the flesh, are anti-christs (1 John 2:22; 4:3), not true Israel.
So, consider that America has turned its back on God and gone after those who have the faith of Abraham and are the seed of Abraham, not just turned its back on a political ally in the Middle East.
