Missouri State Senator Hopes for Trump Assassination – Democrats Back Her With Petition Website

Missouri State Senator Maria Chappelle-Nadal posted on Facebook that she hoped President Donald Trump would be assassinated, and now a petition website has been setup to support her dream.

IStandWithMaria.com popped up immediately following Chappelle-Nadal’s now deleted Facebook post.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

The following is the post and her confirmation that she did indeed make the statements.

Even though the post was deleted, the senator did acknowledge to St. Louis TV station KMOX that she did post it.

“I put something up on my personal Facebook page and it has now been deleted,” she said.

The petition website reads, “We, as constituents and community members and people who feel the same frustration with our current political landscape stand with Senator Maria Chappelle-Nadal.  We know that there is a huge difference between saying that someone hopes Donald Trump is assassinated and someone calling for his assassination.”

As if anyone would want to defend saying that a public representative is justified in stating that she hopes for the assassination of another public servant!

To be fair, the website appears to be nothing more than a means of collecting emails, addresses and phone numbers, probably so Democrats can contact you in the future to encourage you to vote for the party that advocates assassination.

By making the statement she did, she has no idea what impressionable mind is listening to that statement and receiving it as encouragement to actually commit that crime she is hoping for.

At least some of the people she represents had some guts to stand up and call for her resignation.

As for Chappelle-Nadal, she simply wished she could have a do-over and “reframe” her comment.

“Out of anger and frustration, I said something that could have been reframed,” Chappelle-Nadal stated. “And I refuse to shy away from the hypocrisy and chaos our country is enduring under Trump.”

But isn’t this just like a Democrat?

They are up in arms (no pun intended) about going after guns because of violence committed with guns, but when it comes to advocating violence in their comments and they get caught, they want to “reframe” their statements.

As for hypocrisy and chaos, well, where was this “voice of reason” during the Obama years when racial tensions were at their highest point in decades?  Where was Ms. Cahppelle-Nadal when the utter hypocrisy of the claims of “phony scandals,” “You didn’t build that” and the chaos that is Obamacare was erupting?  Where was she when the usurper in the White House was throwing gasoline on the fire of an already bad situation in Ferguson Missouri, not to mention the countless times he through his own racism into the mix of criminal investigations that he had no business speaking about, only later to discover he was completely wrong?

No, this woman was simply wrong and should have said nothing of the sort like this.

“All sides need to agree that there is no room for suggestions of political violence in America — and the Missouri Democratic Party will absolutely not tolerate calls for the assassination of the President,” said Stephen Webber, the party’s chairman.

Good, so what is Mr. Webber going to do about it?  Simply make a statement?  Or will he actually show he’s a man and call for this woman’s resignation, as well?

My guess is that a statement is all we’re going to get here.
