The sad human condition was on full display in Charlottesville last Saturday. It appears many who came to the rally and counter protest were prepared to engage in violent behavior.
What we are told is that it is all about statues commemorating a tragic era of our history.
“All across the southern United States, sometimes in the dead of night, statues are falling. In the days since the violent clashes in Charlottesville, Virginia, last weekend, over the fate of a statue of Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee, activists in Durham, North Carolina, have used ropes to tear down a statue of a Confederate soldier outside the city’s former courthouse; authorities in Baltimore moved in the early hours to take down the city’s Confederate monuments; and the mayor of Birmingham, Alabama, where state law prohibits the removal of a Confederate monument from a city park, ordered it covered up with plastic.” Yahoo.com
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
Supposedly these statues represent racism and the oppression of blacks in our country.
But the ignorance of the protestors, journalists and politicians is stunning.
The statues of Robert E. Lee, they claim, are racist – but they obviously don’t know his history.
Lee emancipated slaves that came into his family by inheritance while the General he surrendered to at Appomattox, Ulysses S. Grant, had purchased a slave, and his wife inherited slaves that served his family during the war.
Grant did emancipate the slave he purchased but not the slaves he inherited.
So, the Southern General freed slaves while the Northern General’s family had slaves during the war.
Then why aren’t they tearing down all the statues of Ulysses S. Grant?
Ignorance of the mob, the press, and the academic institutions in our land has no end.
Consider the person who has done the most harm to blacks in our country; there is a prominent bust of this woman which still stands today in our National Portrait Gallery.
A group of black pastors wrote the Smithsonian a letter explaining that Sanger was far from a champion for their race because of her strong ties to the eugenics movement. The black pastors, along with other pro-life advocates rallied outside the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery to demand the removal of the statue.
They say Sanger supported eugenics to rid the nation of those she deemed ‘defective’ and ‘feeble-minded’ by stopping the growth of their populations, particularly blacks and other minorities.
Officials at the Smithsonian have rejected the request, defending the inclusion of Sanger in their exhibit, describing her as someone who “fought to achieve civil rights for disenfranchised or marginalized groups.”
But the pastors say they will not be dissuaded, saying “Margaret Sanger was a racist who wanted to end the black population through birth control and abortion.”
With leftist protests demanding the removal of Confederate monuments across the country, where is the media and academia outcry against the bust of the Planned Parenthood founder?
This was not the first time the demand was made of the taxpayer-funded Smithsonian.
Back in 2015, “25 House Republicans campaigned to have [the] bust …removed from the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery, where it has been included in an exhibit featuring American civil rights leaders, called ‘The Struggle for Justice,’ with Ted Cruz’s office issuing a press release explaining that she didn’t belong there for a number of reasons, the most damning of which is that as part of her ‘inhumane life’s work’ she ‘advocated for the extermination of African-Americans.’”
It’s not the first time Sanger has faced this accusation.
During this past primary season, Ben Carson proclaimed that Sanger “believed that people like me should be eliminated” —later clarifying, per PolitiFact, that he was “talking about the black race”—and in 2011, Herman Cain alleged that Sanger’s original goal for Planned Parenthood was to “help kill black babies before they came into the world.”
That might sound outlandish until you read what she actually said.
Sanger infamously wrote in her book Woman, Morality, and Birth Control,
“We should hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with social-service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities. The most successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal. We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members.” (pg.12)
Could it be that she found just such a minister in Martin Luther King Jr.?
“In 1966, Martin Luther King Jr. made clear that he agreed that Sanger’s life’s work was anything but inhumane. In 1966, when King received Planned Parenthood’s Margaret Sanger Award in Human Rights, he praised her contributions to the black community. ‘There is a striking kinship between our movement and Margaret Sanger’s early efforts,’ he said. ‘…Margaret Sanger had to commit what was then called a crime in order to enrich humanity, and today we honor her courage and vision.’” Time.com
Unless I’m mistaken, King is saying he was fully on board with Sanger’s eugenics agenda including her “Negro Project.”
Sanger wrote of the “cultivation of the better racial elements in our society, and the gradual suppression, elimination and eventual extirpation of defective stocks— those human weeds which threaten the blooming of the finest flowers of American civilization,” Apostle of Birth Control Sees Cause Gaining Here, The New York Times, 1923-04-08, p. XII.
She also wrote, “The most merciful thing that the large family does to one of its infant members is to kill it.” Chapter 5, “The Wickedness of Creating Large Families.”
“A coalition of black pastors, which is led by prominent Bishop E. W. Jackson, sent a letter back in 2015 to Kim Sajet, director of the National Portrait Gallery.
The letter read:
“Perhaps the Gallery is unaware that Ms. Sanger supported black eugenics, a racist attitude toward black and other minority babies; an elitist attitude toward those she regarded as “the feeble minded;” of her speaking at rallies of Ku Klux Klan women; and communications with Hitler sympathizers. Also, the notorious “Negro Project” which sought to limit, if not eliminate, black births, was her brainchild. Despite these well-documented facts of history, her bust sits proudly in your gallery as a hero of justice. The obvious incongruity is staggering!…
Like Hitler, Sanger advocated eugenics – the extermination of people she deemed “undesirables.” Finding that the American people rejected that idea, she then switched to birth control as a way of controlling the population growth of black people and others,” Freedom Outpost
Margaret Sanger was a racist who founded Planned Parenthood for the purpose of black genocide.
The “Negro Project” was her idea to eliminate the black population.
Sanger has been wildly successful.
More blacks are aborted in New York than born, according to the New York Dept. of Health.
According to the CDC black women, although only 11% of the female population in America, have 36% of the abortions.
More than 18 million black babies have been murdered in their own mother’s wombs.
If those people were alive today, the black population, in our land would be more than double what it currently is.
Sanger’s Planned Parenthood has suppressed the black vote more effectively than poll taxes, literacy tests, voter ID requirements, and the Ku Klux Klan combined.
Sanger’s portraits and busts are revered in many places. Awards are given bearing her name. Gatherings are held yearly honoring her and attended by many so-called leaders, politicians and prominent people.
However, Sanger is not alone in creating this black genocide.
Former Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall, the first black Justice on the Supreme Court, was radically pro-abortion, not only voting for Roe v. Wade, but even demanding public funding for what amounts to more black genocide.
Now our airport in Maryland is named after him, and his statue still stands directly in front of the legislative buildings in our State’s Capital.
In the dead of night this past Monday, the Governor of Maryland had the statue of Supreme Court Justice Roger B. Taney removed from where he sat for 145 years because he authored the Dred Scott opinion.
Yet, they let stand the man responsible for the murder of 60 million babies, 18 million of which were black babies.
There it is today, a statue of a black man who conducted black genocide, and no one is calling for it to be torn down.
We are being deceived.
What is taking place is using the stalking horse of racism to bring about a communist revolution by violent means.
When we examine the roots of violence it is quite clear; man’s fallen condition tends to produce violence.
Romans 3:23 states, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”
Jesus Himself identified the parentage of unbelievers when they expressed their violent desire to kill him in John 8:42-45.
“Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.”
Violence, lies and murder are all from the devil – these are the works of the devil. And we see that in Charlottesville, many came intending to inflict pain, intending to act violently.
The President was right to place blame for the violence on both sides.
Jesus clearly stated that the children follow their father (John 10:10).
“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”
The cure for violence in our land comes from the Word of God, which shows us the path of redemption.
The heart of man is desperately wicked and only Jesus Christ can transform that hatred into love and that violence into kindness.
