Muslim Migrant Violence Erupts on the Streets of Paris

The French are finally getting around to breaking up the migrant camps within its borders.  These makeshift tent cities are packed with migrants who have nowhere to go and do not wish to live in refugee centers.  They are dangerous and filthy.

First, the French government broke up the famous Calais Jungle.  This overcrowded and filthy place has now seen its occupants moved out and most are going to be relocated to various parts of France.  But many of these people traveled to Paris.

This led the Paris authorities to begin sweeping the Parisian streets of tent cities.  And this led to an event apparently unforeseen by police.

Breitbart reports:

Only days after police cracked down on migrant slums on the streets of Paris, gangs of migrants armed with clubs fought each other in the Stalingrad district of the French capital.

The brawl was caught on camera and shows dramatic scenes of mass violence between rival migrant factions, the Daily Mail reports.

After the French government cleared the Calais Jungle, many migrants have traveled to Paris and have been sleeping rough in the district’s migrant camp. The cause of the brawl is currently unknown, though it has been speculated that raids by police in Paris stoked already-existing tensions between migrants of different ethnic and cultural backgrounds.

The police are liable to see more incidents like this as President Francois Hollande has promised that these camps would also be dispersed.  This means that those who have already refused relocation may cause resistance in the Parisian camps.

But, if something is not done for the citizens of this district, things could be bleaker than riots.

Breitbart continues:

A shopkeeper named Faisal told French paper Le Figaro:  “The stench of urine, feces, and rubbish has made Stalingrad an unhealthy place to live. The place is dead, no one wants to come here anymore. People are afraid to go out and lock themselves in.”

He said if the police didn’t move the migrants soon he’d likely go out of business.

Time will tell the backlash this is likely to cause.
