CPAC 2015 or bust! CPAC stands for the Conservative Political Action Committee. Big whoop! What does that mean? Well, in looking at some of the posts on Facebook and other online services, I can see that the Left believes it’s a bunch of stuffy, old, white, grey-haired guys that think the only good minority is one working for minimum wage.
Where did that come from? It can’t be from actual fact because leadership in the Republican Party is as diverse, if not more so, as the Democrats leadership.
Look at the lineup, Governor Bobby Jindal, U.S. Representative Mia Love, Carly Fiorina, Senator Tim Scott and the list goes on. So how is it we let the Dem’s paint a picture of us as the modern day KKK? Marketing! You can lie about anything as long as you market it to the right people the right way.
To be clear, the Dems voted against ending slavery, against giving women the right to vote, and they started the KKK with the express intent to scare the blacks back into slavery or kill them off all together.
The Democrats have painted a picture that Republicans were responsible for all this. Like Brian Williams’ rescue from the downed chopper, it ain’t so!
President LBJ said he knew how to keep n*****s voting for Democrats for 100 years. He was right. Keep anyone dependent on the government for food, shelter, money and so on, and they will do anything you want them to do out of self-preservation.
Republicans have always fought for the rights of all people. All the misdirection from the Left can’t change that.
And let’s talk about this “war on women.”
Fact: Democrats historically pay their female staffers less than male staffers. The two so-called biggest Democrat Party champions of women’s equality (Nancy Pelosi and Hillary Clinton) both paid woman 25 to 30 percent less than men. They could fix that with the stroke of a pen. But they don’t. That makes them hypocrites.
El Presidente says that it’s a travesty that women should not have to fight for equal pay. Another hypocrite. Female White House staff make, on average, 27% less than their male counterparts. He has a pen and a phone, what’s the problem?
Obama could pen an executive order to fix this problem overnight or maybe have his DOJ stop chasing law-abiding citizens and nonprofits around and actually enforce the law that’s been on the books since 1963.
When it comes to welfare, Republicans don’t want unlimited, endless hand-outs because we don’t want people dependent on the government from cradle to grave. There are people on welfare in some way, shape, or form for 20 years (or more). How do you strengthen a person’s self-esteem? Teach them to care for themselves. Teach them to feed their family. Most adults want to be independent.
News Flash! Living off the government is not independence!
Instead of taxing our community colleges with illegal, undocumented, improperly registered humans in this country, how about we make room and retrain those millions of Americans who are out of work? Instead of simply giving them a check every week, let’s give them a check and a career. Let’s give them real self-esteem. Let’s help them realize the happiness that comes from pursuing it, not taking it from a handout.
Republicans have been saying Obamacare won’t work ever since it was introduced, not because they hate those who can’t afford healthcare or who can’t take care of themselves, but because they knew we would waste millions of dollars, not get a better program, and more Americans would suffer. Guess what? They were right. There is only a very small handful of people who got a better plan and saved money, but in the end it was subsidized. The vast majority are paying more and getting less.
Republicans called it. You could have done better. Once again the Democrats have spit in the face of the American people. The people voted for real change in 2014. The Dems have doubled down on obstructionism.
In the meantime, CPAC had young and old, white, black, Asian, Hispanic, men, women, and even more diversity. They brought a mix of ideas about how to make this country greater by giving people more opportunity to succeed and prosper, and not by getting more government handouts! The “old white guys” were there encouraging the younger people to engage and get involved.
Conservatives are not the party for conservatives. And Republicans are not just for Republicans. When you put the 2 together, they are Americans for a stronger America, and that means all Americans.
