No Scientific Proof Homosexuals Are Born That Way (Video)

For years, there has been one standard defense for the sodomite. When faced with the condemnation of Scriptures, they would fall back on their birth. They would claim that their sexual preference was not up to them. “God made them gay; therefore He could not condemn them for being what He had made them to be.”  Essentially, holding up the logical fallacy, “Is equals aught,” as a defense for their actions.

Now, there has been a study showing that this may not longer be an argument.

Christian News reports:

Two psychiatrists from Johns Hopkins University assert in a new report that there is no scientific evidence to support that people are born homosexual or innately oriented to have sexual relations with the same gender.

The report, Sexuality and Gender: Findings from the Biological, Psychological, and Social Sciences, was written by Dr. Lawrence Mayer and Dr. Paul McHugh and published in The New Atlantis.

It is good that these men are not connected to a Christian school, simply because the sodomites would claim that there was a bias. It is also good that there are over 200 peer-reviewed studies as a basis for their conclusions.

So, what exactly are their conclusions?

Christian News continues:

In their report, they criticize what they call the “common assumption that sexual desires, attractions, or longings reveal some innate and fixed feature of our biological or psychological constitution, a fixed sexual identity or orientation,” finding even the phrase “sexual orientation” to be ambiguous and without “widely accepted scientific definitions.”

“Furthermore, we may have some reasons to doubt the common assumption that in order to live happy and flourishing lives, we must somehow discover this innate fact about ourselves that we call sexuality or sexual orientation, and invariably express it through particular patterns of sexual behavior or a particular life trajectory,” Mayer and McHugh write.

This cuts at the heart of the sodomite arguments. The first, we discussed at the beginning of the article. The second is the thought that they must act out the way they do sexually in order to be healthy and happy.

They are saying that this has not been observed, and is a false proof that has no evidence from science.

Some people will always blame other people for their own failings. They’ll even blame God for their failings. Isn’t that what Freud’s promoters had in mind?

So, we take “born that way” out of the argument. I still didn’t choose to be attracted to the same sex, I just am. Now, just for fun, lets take religion out of the argument, are you still homophobic? Why?

  • Saved1973

You can look almost anywhere for the definition of a “Phobia” & see that the word refers to someone who has an “irrational and abnormal fear” of something, so your dishonesty in branding anyone who disagrees with your L.G.B.T. agenda as “homophobic” shows that you don’t really care about the truth anyway, since disagreement with your agenda, and/or disgust & revulsion at the the filthy things you guys do is neither irrational nor abnormal. Your calling people “homophobic” is simply one of the tactics you people use to persecute, belittle & silence those who disagree with your evil & sinful ways.

It’s understandable that you would find what we do disgusting, I wouldn’t expect someone who isn’t gay to find it in any way appealing. However, do you find the thought of two very unattractive straight people together disgusting or revolting?

  • Saved1973

If they’re sticking their tongues in each others butts, playing in each others poop/feces, eating it & playing in it like male “gays” do, then of course I would find it disgusting. Doesn’t matter if they’re attractive or not. And you guys can’t figure out why you get so many horrible diseases at a much higher rate than people that don’t do those things??

  • Brad

Not all gays do those things though. Some even find it disgusting. The ones who do do those things usually clean themselves really well in preparation, not that you would find that any less disgusting.

I feel like it isn’t so much what they do but rather just the fact that they are gay is what bothers so many people.

People also don’t choose to be sexually attracted to children, animals, etc., but most people realize that to have sex with them is sick, & morally wrong.
People don’t choose to be attracted, aroused or thrilled in some other fashion by arson, car theft, rape, assaulting people etc., but again, most people learn as they become adults, and know, that those things are ALSO morally wrong, so they discipline themselves not to do those things & seek psychological help to overcome those “attractions”.
Problem is, in the sick & twisted, upside down society that we live in today, where as a nation, we no longer have any moral compass, virtually “anything goes”, or as Gods Word says “every man did what was right in his own eyes”.

  • Saved1973

They “usually clean themselves really well in preparation”?
If they don’t think there’s anything wrong with what they’re doing, what makes you think that they are going to clean themselves up “really well”?
