Norma McCorvey, the “Roe” of the 1973 Supreme Court decision, Roe v. Wade has died at the age of 69.

On February 18, 2017, McCorvey died at an assisted-living facility in Katy, Texas as a result of a heart ailment.

Though she was used for years to promote the holocaust of the murder of the unborn, Ms. McCorvey later converted to Christianity and supported the push to reverse the unconstitutional and murderous decision of the Supreme Court.

“It’s safe to say that the entire abortion industry is based on a lie,” she said.  “I am dedicated to spending the rest of my life undoing the law that bears my name.”

The only problem with her comment is that a Supreme Court ruling is not law.  Furthermore, the Supreme Court had no business hearing the case as it does not fall under their constitutional authority.  Otherwise, she was exactly right in that abortion is based on lies and that she did spend her life attempting to reverse the decision and teach others the truth about what abortion actually is:  the murder of the most innocent among us while in their mother’s womb.

Operation Rescue, a pro-life organization that seeks to bring justice to abortion doctors and close abortion murder mills, commented on her passing.

“I am deeply saddened at the loss of our dear friend Norma McCorvey. She spent the better part of the last 25 years working to undo the terrible Supreme Court decision that bears her name,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman. “Her work was not in vain. Norma became an inspiration for so many, and we at Operation Rescue work every day to achieve her goal of ending abortion in America.”

McCorvey was a long-time friend of Operation Rescue and lived for several months with the family of  Newman in Wichita, Kansas.

Ms. McCorvey will be greatly missed.
