NSA, CIA, and the FBI all Served Subpoenas to Answer Congress on Unmasking of Americans

Fox News’ James Rosen has been at the forefront of the real investigative news that has been unfolding over the last few months. While the liberal media is focused on the idiotic non-story surrounding Russia’s involvement in the 2016 election, Rosen and Fox News have been laser-focused on the criminal activities of our own government.

Already we’ve seen proof that the NSA, the CIA, and the FBI all broke various laws and trampled upon the 4th Amendment. Recent reports have uncovered the fact that they unlawfully “unmasked” innocent Americans, other reports proved that they were breaking their own regulations (and our laws) by spying on thousands of other innocent Americans, and most recently we learned that they were sharing their illegally obtained information illegally with 3rd parties who were not cleared for the information. In fact, what we’ve learned for certain is that during the Obama era the intelligence community has been one large community of lawlessness.

Now all three of the major agencies are being subpoenaed by Congress to answer for some of their crimes – particularly the issue of criminal unmasking.

Here’s what James Rosen reported on Fox News:

FOX News has confirmed that the FBI, the CIA, and the National Security Agency were all served today with subpoenas issued by the House Intelligence Committee. Sources say each of these subpoenas referenced unmasking and each named as figures of interest three senior Obama era officials.

Former White House National Security Adviser Susan Rice was identified by multiple news agencies last month as someone who requested the names of Trump associates whose names had appeared in coded form in classified intelligence reports be identifed for her — or ‘unmasked.’ Rice at the time denied wrongdoing and told us today through a spokesperson that she is unaware of any subpoenas ‘directed at her.’

Former CIA Director John Brennan is also named in the subpoenas. In testimony last week, Brennan decried the leaks of classified information that had bedeviled the Trump administration, and which some believe is linked to the unmasking activity. Brennan declined our request for comment.

Most noteworthy was the committee’s naming of Samantha Power, the former UN ambassador has not previously surfaced in the unmasking controversy. A Pulitzer prize-winning historian, Power served in Barack Obama’s Senate office before joining his administration.

House investigators told Fox News they are now devoting more scrutiny to Power, and they have come to see her role in the unmasking as ‘larger than previously known.’ Allegedly eclipsing the others named.

Contacted by Fox News today, Power declined to comment.

Today’s disclosures about Samantha Power may explain the somewhat cryptic exchange that occurred at the Brennan hearing last week, initiated by Republican Congressman Trey Gowdy of South Carolina…

House Intelligence Committee chairman, Devin Nunes of California, signed a total of 7 subpoenas. The other 4 were at the behest of the ranking Democrat, Rep. Adam Schiff also of California. These were said to be duplicative of the ones already issued by the Senate Intelligence Committee…

The subpoenas instigated by Schiff are focused on Mike Flynn, President Trump’s former National Security Advisor, and Michael Cohen, a longtime Trump attorney. Cohen has denied colluding with the Kremlin.

Flynn though attorneys has sought immunity in exchange for Congressional testimony.
