Our concern about the movement of terrorists with Syrian migrants is no longer a fear. It has been proved over and again to be a reality. All one has to do is look at the perpetrators of the Paris attack to show that terrorists are getting in with the migrants.
Despite this, President Obama is seeking to up the number of refugees who can enter America every year.
President Barack Obama has been quietly pushing new plans to bring thousands of additional Syrian refugees into the country, despite the concerns of state and county officials and the outrages committed by welfare-dependent migrants in Europe.
The refugee issue is not the only one that Obama has completely ignored what local government has wanted. But, it is strange that he is ignoring the experts. The people that are serving him closest to this problem should carry some weight with the President. But this does not seem to be the case.
Violent extremists, criminals and foreign fighters are part of the daily refugee flow into Europe, the top NATO commander in Europe told lawmakers, “masking the movement” of these dangerous elements and heightening the potential for an attack.
In testimony Tuesday before the Senate Armed Services Committee, U.S. Air Force Gen. Philip Breedlove said ISIS is “spreading like a cancer” within this mix, “taking advantage of paths of least resistance, threatening European nations” and the United States.
The General is not likely giving his opinion on these refugees. He is not guessing. Military leaders are not usually going to go before the Senate and spout off unsure figures. Breedlove probably has it firsthand that this has and is occurring.
So why is Obama still seeking to bring more of these people into our communities?
