Pope Calls On Church to Ask for Forgiveness for the Way They Have Treated Sodomites

There are many today who believe that the Church, of every stripe, has taken the wrong stance when it comes to sodomy. There have been many harsh words and attitudes against people because they were sodomites.

Because of what the world is now calling discrimination, there are many calling for the Christian Church to turn and ask for sodomites to forgive them. And the Pope has taken this stance recently.

Christian News reports:

Jorge Bergoglio, who goes by the name “Pope Francis,” said on Sunday that Christians and the Roman Catholic Church should seek forgiveness from homosexuals for the way they had treated them.

“I think that the Church not only should apologize … to a gay person whom it offended but it must also apologize to the poor as well, to the women who have been exploited, to children who have been exploited by (being forced to) work. It must apologize for having blessed so many weapons.”

The Pope appears to take the far left thinking that every social ill is or should be laid at the feet of the Church. Even though he and many who believe this way teach that the Church should in no way tamper or influence government.

But if the Church should not get involved, then what have they done wrong? And if sexual morality is not to be spoken about by the Church, what can be? Francis wishes to relegate Christianity to cult status rather than religious status. The Church then becomes an institution where no wrong is confronted. It becomes a place where no change is sought. It is more or less a social club.

Christian News continues:

“The questions is: if a person who has that condition [Sodomy], who has good will, and who looks for God, who are we to judge?”

Well, according to Vatican teaching, you are the inerrant spokesman of God on Earth. If the highest Christian authority is not allowed to say something is wrong, then why do so many look to him for guidance?

According to him, he has no reason to judge.
