SC Governor Issues Executive Order To Eliminate ALL State Funding of Abortion Clinics

South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster issued an executive order on Friday that cut off all funding to abortion clinics (ie. baby murder mills) in the state.

“There are a variety of agencies, clinics, and medical entities in South Carolina that receive taxpayer funding to offer important women’s health and family planning services without performing abortions,” Gov. McMaster said in a statement. “Taxpayer dollars must not directly or indirectly subsidize abortion providers like Planned Parenthood.”

This is a step in the right direction, but frankly, there is no moral or ethical reason why taxpayers in South Carolina should be funding any organization or business that provides health or family planning services.  Those should be eliminated too.

McMaster’s order directs the agencies to cease providing both state and federal dollars via grants, contracts, state-administered federal funds, or “any other form,” to all clinics performing the murderous procedure.

The Post and Courier reported, “Three clinics offer elective abortions in South Carolina, but only one of them is a Planned Parenthood clinic, in Columbia. Federal law already prohibits Medicaid money from being used to pay for abortions, with exceptions for cases of rape, incest or when the mother’s life is in danger.”

According to the order, McMaster bars any money taken in by the state from citizens to be used for “any physician or professional medical practice affiliated with an abortion clinic and operating concurrently with and in the same physical, geographic location or footprint as an abortion clinic.”

Of course, Planned Parenthood and their useful idiots were in a tizzy over the executive action.

Dr. Raegan McDonald-Mosley, the chief medical officer of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, vowed on Friday, “This is not over.”

“And we’ll leave no stone unturned to protect our patients’ access to health care,” McDonald-Mosley added.

“Today’s executive order issued by Governor McMaster hurts South Carolinians in the name of politics,” said Jenny Black, a spokesperson for Planned Parenthood South Atlantic, which administers the abortion giant’s South Carolina franchise. “While he throws women under the bus to score political points, Planned Parenthood South Atlantic will continue to focus on providing the wide-range of accessible, affordable health care services that our patients, and his constituents, rely on. We will not stop fighting to protect our patients’ access to health care.”

Others parroting the lies of Planned Parenthood about abortions being “safe” include Ann Warner, the CEO of the Women’s Rights and Empowerment Network in Columbia, who said, “We cannot sit quietly and allow this to happen. We need to speak out.”

“We need to look beyond political debates and remember that real people in our communities are going to get hurt if this executive order is allowed to stand,” she added.

The problem is that if these people are serious about people not getting hurt, they should first consider the life of the unborn they are in support of dismembering and murdering in the womb.

Second, they should consider the deaths of mothers that are the result of abortions across the nation, or the complications that stem from those abortions, or the botched abortions or the mental anguish that many women experience following the murder of their child.  Click here and see the evidence for yourself.

But Planned Parenthood won’t tell you that, and neither with people like Ms. Warner.

Why?  Because there’s big money to be made from lying and being in the hitman business.  Then, there’s even more money to be made from selling baby parts from those murders.

These are those whose god is indeed the almighty dollar.  Jesus spoke well of such people when He said:

“No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.” -Matthew 6:24

Marjorie Dannenfelser of the Susan B. Anthony List thanked McMaster “for acting to ensure taxpayers fund comprehensive primary and preventative care for women and families, not abortion businesses like Planned Parenthood.”

President Trump signed a bill into law that overturned the previous rule that Barack Hussein Obama Soetoro Sobarkah put in place that prevented states from defunding Planned Parenthood murder mills and would allow states to block money from federal grants to abortion clinics.

After passing the House and facing a tie-breaking vote in the Senate by Vice President Mike Pence, the bill was sent to Trump’s desk and he signed it in April.

Susan B. Anthony List President Marjorie Dannenfelser toldLifeNews.com, “This week the pro-life movement had two huge victories: first, the swearing-in of Justice Gorsuch and now, President Trump will undo former President Obama’s parting gift to the abortion industry. The resolution signed today simply ensures that states are not forced to fund an abortion business with taxpayer dollars. Rather, states have the option to spend Title X money on comprehensive health care clinics that better serve women and girls.”

“We thank President Trump, Vice President Pence, who cast the tie-breaking vote last month, as well as the women who led this effort in Congress, Rep. Diane Black and Sen. Joni Ernst,” she added.  “Prioritizing funding away from Planned Parenthood to comprehensive health care alternatives is a winning issue. We expect to see Congress continue its efforts to redirect additional taxpayer funding away from Planned Parenthood through pro-life health care reform after the spring recess.”

“State legislatures around the country have spoken out about their preference for prioritizing more comprehensive primary and preventative care providers for the receipt of Title X funding, and their voice should be respected by bureaucrats in the federal government,” wrote Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA) and Rep. Diane Black (R-TN.) in a joint op-ed for the Washington Examiner, “According to its 2014-2015 annual report, Planned Parenthood performed 323,999 abortion procedures in just one year. Taxpayers should not be forced to subsidize the abortion industry in this country. Nor should they be forced to foot the bill for an organization like Planned Parenthood that has displayed such blatant disregard for human life.”

“With a pro-life president in the White House and pro-life majorities in the House and Senate, we will continue to work together this year to undo the damage done by the Obama administration,” the two women wrote.

“Planned Parenthood which, according to their latest annual report, performed 323,999 abortions in a single year, does not need or deserve taxpayer dollars,” said Dannenfelser.  “We thank Rep. Diane Black (R-TN) and Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA) for leading the effort to overturn this unpopular rule. Their leadership reflects the truth that women largely support stopping taxpayer funding of the abortion industry and redirecting funds to centers that offer real health care.”

This didn’t stop Planned Parenthood from attacking the bill and President Trump.

“Planned Parenthood strongly opposes President Trump’s willingness to undermine millions of women’s access to birth control through the Title X family planning program,” said Planned Parenthood Executive Vice President Dawn Laguens in a statement.  “Four million people depend on the Title X family planning program, and by signing this bill, President Trump disregards their health and well-being.”

This is a good move, now let’s continue it by outlawing every single abortion clinic in the state and prosecuting those butchering the innocent among us.
