SC Imam Muhammad Adly: Men Are Better Than Women – A Woman Is Her Husband’s Prisoner & Must Obey Him

In a message delivered on August 11, 2017 in a Columbia, South Carolina mosque, Islamic cleric Muhammad Sayyed Adly said that men are better than women and that a woman is owned by the man and women should be “as prisoners in your hands or in your house,” adding that the husband should not mistreat his captive, just as one should not mistreat cats or dogs.

The video was released by the Middle East Media Research Institute TV Monitor Project (MEMRI).

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

“He is the head of her, the owner of her, the ruler of her,” said Adly.  “And he is the one who corrects her when she goes astray.”

“That is because men are better than women,” he added.  “A man is better.  The man, in general, is better than the woman.”

“Not every man is better than every woman,” Adly clarified.  “But men, in general — Allah exalted them.”

“This is the sunna of Allah,” he said.  “Some people say this man is getting crazy, now he is getting old. Now he doesn’t know what he is talking about.”

Well, he is crazy.  He is at odds even with the Scriptures of the Bible, which no one should be surprised at since he believes antichrist doctrine, which Islam espouses.

“Yes, I know that I am in America and that also we have freedom of speech,” he said.  “This is what I believe.”

Actually, try insulting Islam or Allah and see if he believes in freedom of speech.  Call Muhammad a liar, thief, pedophile and see if he won’t side with Islamists like Anjem Choudary who call for people to be killed over that.  That not freedom of speech.  That is taqiyya being used to make people think there is nothing to fear from Sharia law.

“Allah said ‘men are exalted,’” Adly continued.  “As a result of this, we find Allah has told us a nation cannot have a woman as ruler.

“No nation that makes their governor a woman can ever succeed,” Adly added.

He then listed what a woman was not supposed to do, according to Islam.

  • “A woman cannot leave her house without asking for approval of her husband …
  • “A woman is not supposed to welcome anybody or permit anybody in her house without her husband’s approval. …
  • “A woman cannot travel without a guardian.

And why?

“Because women are as prisoners in your hands or in your house,” he said.  “Captivity. She is in a form captivity … She is a prisoner.”

MEMRI also shows different clips of the same imam speaking about how to determine if a wife is righteous. Among his remarks: “The way she is acting, the way she is behaving.”

Also: “If he commands her, she will obey him.”

Now, look men are not women and women are not men.  While they are equals in the eyes of the law and before God, our Creator did design us differently for different purposes.

When it comes to authority, the man is indeed the head and leader (1 Cor. 11:1-12) of the woman and she should submit to him out of love and obedience to God (Eph. 5:22), but that is vastly different than her being a prisoner or slave or something.  It is simply her role.

But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. -1 Cor. 11:3

Women are designed in such a way that their primary energies are to be spent in the home (Titus 2:, but it does not mean she cannot be industrious and go outside the home.  Proverbs 31 clearly teaches us that she can do such things and should do such things because she loves her family, and in doing so, she also aids her husband in his goal of taking dominion as our first parents were instructed back in Genesis.  It’s really a beautiful picture, one that both man and woman enjoy.

And why does the man lead?

For the man is not of the woman: but the woman of the man. Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man. -1 Cor. 11:-8-9

She was created from him to be a helpmate to him.

However, the husband is also to love his wife and cherish her and in such a way that they are a picture of Jesus Christ and His people, the Church.

Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the churchFor we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband. Ephesians 5:25-33

So, is this Islamic cleric following the true commands of God and actually loving his wife?  Is he teaching others to do the same?  Is he following in the path of the Lord Jesus Christ, whom he would claims is a prophet?  I think not.

Christ feeds, protects and loves His bride, the Church.  He loved her so much that he gave his own life’s blood and was willing to be humiliated and crucified in order to redeem her from her sins and reconcile her to God.

What does Islam offer?  It offers men as slavemasters for their own fleshly gratification.  It offers women a prison cell they call a home.  It offers no hope of redemption and no real just forgiveness of sins.

But the Gospel of Jesus Christ not only offers forgiveness of sins but teaches men and women the roles God created them for in which they will both have joy and the fullness of what God intended for them in those roles.

I wish more Islamists would listen to the true Word of God rather than the doctrines of demons spewed forth by the likes of this imam.
