See Why An Atheist Group Is Calling This Christian Theme Park “Immoral”

Christians often reject or forget the fact that lost people are dead in their sins and trespasses (Eph. 2:2), and that they cannot understand the Scriptures because they are Spiritually discerned (I Cor. 2:14). Because of this, they fail to see the clear inconsistencies in the atheists’ thinking and reasoning.

Rather than pointing out the fact that the atheist has to borrow from the Christian worldview to believe what they do, they try to offer evidence. This is a colossal waste of time, as the atheist will accept no proof. The atheist is in rebellion against God and is repressing the truth in unrighteousness (Rom. 1:18).

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

A good example of what I mean is found in this incident in Kentucky over a billboard sign.

Christian News reports:

Tri-State Freethinkers is an organization based in Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio that is committed to countering what they describe as the “nonsense” of religion. In March, the group launched a fundraising campaign to counter the Ark Encounter—an evangelistic, full-size replica of Noah’s Ark being built by Answers in Genesis in northern Kentucky.

“Scheduled to open in Williamstown, Kentucky on July 7, 2016, the park celebrates a biblical parable of genocide and incest,” the atheists wrote on their fundraising page. “While they have a legal right to celebrate their mythology, we find it immoral and highly inappropriate as family entertainment. Help us remind the surrounding community and potential patrons that the biblical story of Noah’s Ark is immoral and should not be encouraged as a family fun day.”

Aside from the fact that these “Freethinkers” wish to stop others from thinking for themselves, this group has the audacity to speak of morality. They wish to present the history of Noah as something immoral. But how can they arrive at such a conclusion?

If there is no God, and they claim that there is not such a being, then what is morality but a human construct? Who determines moral or immoral? In reality, if there is no God, then what this group is really saying is, “I don’t like that you are doing this, and I want to stop others from taking part.”

But this has no standing in the realm of ought or ought not. We do not decide what pants to wear based on what color the atheist likes. Until they can actually tell us what morality is and where it comes from, they are standing on shifting sands. Because without God, there is no basis for good or bad, morality or immorality.
