See Why This Gun Shop Etches a Bible Verse In Their New Line of Semi-Automatic Rifles

Spike’s Tactical in Apopka, Florida has a new line of AR-15 rifles with a Knights Templar Long Cross and a verse from the Bible etched on the side. Why? Apparently, they believe the verse will repel Muslims jihadists.

The Ar-15, referred to as the “Crusader,” has hit the market at $1,395.00. The Scripture that is emblazoned on the rifle come from Psalm 144:1.

“Blessed be the Lord my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle.”

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

The Orlando Sentinel reports:

Spike’s Tactical is marketing an assault rifle it claims was “designed to never be used by Muslim terrorists.” The AR-15 assault rifle is laser-etched on one side with a Knights Templar Long Cross – a symbol of the Christian Crusades to reclaim the Holy Land from Muslims – and Psalm 144:1 on the other side: “Blessed be the Lord my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle.”

The company’s spokesman, former Navy SEAL Ben “Mookie” Thomas said he came up with the idea and believes no devout Muslim would touch such a weapon.

“Off the cuff I said I’d like to have a gun that if a Muslim terrorist picked it up a bolt of lightning would hit and knock him dead,” Thomas said.

Like a lot of misinformation concerning Muslims, I don’t really think they would much care what gun they used. Frankly, if it had the infidel’s God’s Word on it, it might even be more appealing to the jihadist to use it against the infidel, but I love the idea of having the Scriptures on a weapon. It reminds us of Who actually fights the battle for us.

Of course, the designated Islamic terrorist group Council on American-Islamic Relations wanted to put a spin on the rifle.

“Is it designed for Christian terrorists?” asked Hasan Shibly, executive director of CAIR-FL. “We need to have a conversation on gun violence. There has been utter silence from gun manufacturers. It’s time for them to stop trying to make a buck on this.”

The follower of Muhammad and spokesman for a Muslim Brotherhood front group continued, “”Sadly, this manufacturer’s fancy new gun won’t do anything to stop the real threat in America: the escalating problem of gun violence. This is just another shameful marketing ploy intended to profit from the promotion of hatred, division, and violence.”

Keep in mind that the store did not say it would not sell to Muslims. It has not designated itself in the fashion that other gun stores have, a Muslim Free Gun Store. Yet, it is telling that Shibly, who is tied to the Muslim Brotherhood, a group set on the destruction of America, and Hamas through CAIR is actually questioning whether Christian terrorists is what this is marketed for.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, Shibly claims that out of 205 mass killings so far this year in the US, only one involved a Muslim. Hmmm. Really Mr. Shibly?

Consider that the Garland, Texas jihad, which included Shibly’s fellow Islamists, could have resulted in a mass shooting to end many lives, but they were stopped with Americans with guns. Consider also how many more would have been killed in the Chattanooga attack by Shibly’s Muslim brother Muhammad Youssef Abdulazzez were it not for those with guns that stopped him. Do we even need to go to Islamic jihadists who used airplanes in the largest mass killing in US history on US soil? Does Shibly intend to be taken seriously? Apparently, he does.

Thomas did affirm that the gun could be considered something of a publicity stunt.

“If it’s a publicity stunt to say, ‘Hey, we’ve decided to make a gun that only like-minded individuals, people who share our beliefs, are inclined to purchase, then yeah,” he said.

One pastor in the area, John Fischer of First United Methodist Church of Apopka, demonstrated his lack of historical and biblical knowledge concerning weapons and the Bible.

According to Fox Orlando:

“If I were them, I would definitely find it offensive and conversely if they were putting Koran verses on their guns I [would] find it offensive,” Fisher said. He said a rifle is “perhaps the least desirable” place to put a Bible verse. “It’s hard for me to reconcile a scripture verse on a gun when Jesus told us to love our enemies,” Fisher said.

First, Pastor Fisher should brush up on his forefathers in the Revolutionary War, the Black Robed Regiment. Second, he would do well to understand Jesus’ command to “buy a sword” and the Bible’s teaching on self-defense.

Other than that, I think this idea is a great one. In fact, it is an idea that has been offered with the Joshua Mark 5 AK/AR hybrid rifle from Amendment Arms.
