A Seething, Pyschopolitical Hatred of Christianity

There is little doubt that there is a war waging against Christianity in the United States. Every time the name of Christ is mentioned, there are liberals taking offense and acting as if their rights are being trampled on. Truthfully, it is the rights of Christians that are being trampled on, as laws are being passed on a nationwide scale forcing Christians to surrender their values in the name of tolerance. For example, the U.S. Congress is currently considering a bill that would prohibit Christians from exercising their conscience by doing things like refusing to bake a wedding cake for homosexual weddings. Another good example is in Oklahoma, where state representative Emily Virgin (D) is introducing legislation to force Christians to identify themselves by placing a sign on their place of business indicating they refuse to partake in activities that go against their religious beliefs. While the left goes to great extents to prove the actions of Christians are intolerant, the truth is actually quite different. Researchers from The University of North Texas, George Yancey and David Williamson found that there is an intense hatred of Christianity among the nation’s elite, and that those professing tolerance in society do not consider it intolerant to discriminate against Christians. This is because the elite have been so successful in their efforts to discredit the Christian Religion that many people actually believe the false ideas that Christians are oppressive and bigoted. Of course, there is a lot of hypocrisy in the religion itself, people who believe that, because they are Christian, they can behave in any manner they choose because they have been saved. This is likely due to the humanist or communist influence in the church. One of the most sought after goals of communism is to destroy Christianity and replace it with a new “social” religion. The following quotes are from the listed goals of the communist party which were entered into the congressional record in 1963.

“Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with ‘social’ religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a “’religious crutch.’”

“Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of ‘separation of church and state.’”

As mentioned in the above paragraph, the first of the above goals calls for the infiltration of the churches and replacing revealed religion with “social” religion. This social religion is Humanism, which teaches that human beings are essentially the center of the universe and the driving force behind everything. They rely on human logic and reasoning, as opposed to guidance from a divine being to solve the world’s problems. (Perhaps that is why we are in the mess we are in. Man simply cannot create a perfect world.) The Humanist Manifesto, written by John Dewey, is essentially the American version of the Communist Manifesto. This explains why so many churches are preaching an “I am great” message to their parishioners. The church has been infiltrated by communists, and they are going about the work of destroying the message of Christ from within in much the same way Obama is destroying our system of government. Their ultimate goal is to create such a hatred of Christianity that the work of doing away with it all together would be no challenge at all. In fact, they are creating the conditions in which people would beg for its elimination.  The following is from The Soviet Manual on Psychopolitics.

“We have battled in America since the century’s turn to bring to nothing any and all Christian influences and we are succeeding. While we today seem to be kind to the Christian, remember we have yet to influence the Christian world to our ends. When that is done we shall have an end of them everywhere. You may see them here in Russia as trained apes; they do not know their tether is long only until the apes in other lands have become unwary. You must work until religion is synonymous with insanity. You must work until the officials of city, county and state governments will not think twice before they pounce upon religious groups as public enemies.” (Beria, pp. 60)

Bella Dodd was one of the first communists responsible for the infiltration of the Catholic Church in America.  At the time (1930’s), Dodd believed that the communist party cared more about the poor than the Catholic Church, so she became a member of the Communist Party U.S.A., where she later sat on the national council. She later defected and admitted to the deliberate infiltration with the intent of discrediting the church as an institution and destroying religion all together. She also admitted that one of the most successful tactics was one we see commonly being employed today.  She said that once the faith was destroyed, the work of creating a guilt complex and labeling religion as an oppressive institution could begin.  She wanted to teach believers that the Catholic Church was arrogant and closed minded in perpetuating the belief that they were the sole institution of truth and they should open their mind to other religions and cultures in the world. Does this not sound reminiscent of what we are witnessing today? Finally, Dodd also admitted that the directives for infiltrating the Church came directly from Moscow.

“In the late 1920’s and 1930’s, directives were sent from Moscow to all Communist Party organizations. In order to destroy the Catholic Church from within, party members were to be planted in seminaries and within diocesan organizations,” Dodd stated according to the affidavit. I, myself, put some 1,200 men in Catholic seminaries,” Dodd publicly declared.

Bella Dodd was not the only American with communist ties admitting to the infiltration of the church. Manning R. Johnson testified before the House of Un-American activities committee in 1953 where he gave the following testimony.

“Once the tactic of infiltration of religious organizations was set by the Kremlin … the Communists discovered that the destruction of religion could proceed much faster through infiltration of the (Catholic) Church by Communists operating within the Church itself. The Communist leadership in the United States realized that the infiltration tactic in this country would have to adapt itself to American conditions (Europe also had its cells) and the religious make-up peculiar to this country. In the earliest stages it was determined that with only small forces available to them, it would be necessary to concentrate Communist agents in the seminaries. The practical conclusion drawn by the Red leaders was that these institutions would make it possible for a small Communist minority to influence the ideology of future clergymen in the paths conducive to Communist purposes. This policy of infiltrating seminaries was successful beyond even our Communist expectations.”

Why do the communists feel the need to destroy religion in America? As mentioned in the article Psychology has Brought Communism to America, there was a time when religious institutions were looked to for mental healing. The communists would have you believe that the mental arts of psychology and psychiatry should be more trusted than religion and have went about the work of replacing one with the other. The communists believe that social science and behavior modification can be effective tools in conditioning people to accept communism. They do not believe man to be capable of self governance. As long as men continue looking to a higher, spiritual being for guidance, they are unlikely to accept the tenants of communism because it does not recognize the free will of men and seeks to subjugate them to the greater good of the state. In other words, this boils down to the battle between religion and science.

“As it seems in foreign nations that the church is the most ennobling influence, each and every branch and activity of each and every church, must, one way or the other, be discredited. Religion must become unfashionable by demonstrating broadly, through psychopolitical indoctrination, that the soul is non-existent, and that man is an animal.”

This is why religion is hated today.
