Sen. Jeff Flake Accuses Trump Of Stalin Technique Because He Outs State-Controlled Media as “Enemy of the People”

Since Donald Trump presented himself in the political arena as a candidate for president, he has endured attacks, criticism, and unfounded accusations brought forth by Republicans, Democrats, the lamestream enemedia, progressives, liberals, and a host of others.  After his election to the presidency, his adversaries have doubled down on their hostility toward him, going so far as to talk impeachment without any valid reason for the action.  But, his most outspoken critic, Arizona Senator Jeff Flake, accused President Trump of employing popular Josef Stalin techniques in his dealings with the press.

Appearing on ABC’s “This Week,” Sen. Flake (R-AZ), who is set to retire in the near future, voiced how deeply troubled he is at Trump’s attacks upon the media.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

The Washington Times reported:

President Trump is employing techniques “popularized by Joseph Stalin” to demonize the press and his approach could do great harm to the nation in the long run, Sen. Jeff Flake said Sunday.

In an appearance on ABC’s “This Week,” the retiring Arizona Republican and outspoken critic of the president said he’s deeply troubled by how Mr. Trump attacks the media.

“You can talk about crowd size, and this is pretty innocuous if there’s a falsehood. But when you reflexively refer to the press as the ‘enemy of the people’ or ‘fake news,’ that has real damage,” Mr. Flake said. “It has real damage to our standing in the world. And I noted how bad it is for a president to take what was popularized by Joseph Stalin, the ‘enemy of the people,’ to refer to the press.”

Mr. Flake announced his retirement last year amid continued clashes with the president. Before Mr. Flake’s announcement, the president endorsed his would-be challenger in the GOP Senate primary in Arizona, Kelli Ward.

Since then, Mr. Flake has continued to be one of the loudest Republican critics of the president. Specifically, he takes great issue with how Mr. Trump demeans the media.

“I’m going to talk about how damaging that is,” the senator said. “I just want the president to know that this has real consequences.”

With the blatant media bias that has plagued Trump since the beginning of his campaign going all the way through to his presidency, it should not surprise anyone the disdain he has for the press.  Moreover, the lamestream enemedia worked overtime carrying the water for the Kenyan wanna-be dictator while securing itself as the propaganda arm of the central federal government.  All that is needed for the media to be officially recognized as the propaganda, brainwashing entity of the government is the official seal of the united States “deep state” operatives to be plastered at the bottom of the screen.

And, how does calling out the media publishing and airing less than truthful reports and articles damaging to the republic?  Isn’t it the unethical journalistic practices, the engagement in disseminating propaganda and presenting false reports instead of truth more damaging to the republic?  When news organizations work overtime to skew the popularity of one Hillary Rodham Clinton to appear greater than it was, is that not “fake news?”

Isn’t a news organization that engages in unethical practices by broadcasting or printing half-truths becoming the “enemy of the people” by engaging in peddling propaganda in order to shape the thinking of unaware, dumbed-down, low information voters?  And, when these same organizations peddle opinion as fact and engage in blatant bias toward one candidate/party over another, is that not also deceiving the public?

The resounding answer is “yes.”  Moreover, it was many in the alternative media circles as well as the general public who first identified the fakery coming across the airwaves by the major news networks, cable news outlets, and leftist, liberal, progressive leaning publications.  Since the Hussein Soetoro election in 2008, the media has increasingly become the enemy of the people for not providing accurate, unbiased reporting, culminating in the term “lamestream enemedia.”

The so-called “press” engaging in this activity diminishes its own standing on the world stage.  Other leaders of nations may not recognize the agenda of the US media outlets, refusing to consider their change in purpose from “news reporters” to “propaganda pushers.”  With the President identifying these outlets as peddling half-truths and fakery, it tells the world’s leaders the US media outlets cannot be relied upon for accurate information, which is supposed to be their function.  Likewise, it alerts the gullible masses, if they are willing to open up to truth, to the tactics these outlets employ, without shame, to dupe crowds into believing, supporting, and acting on inaccurate and false information.

Many exposed CNN for their multitude of deceptions on false reporting on various topics, including overseas conflicts.  There was the Trayvon Martin incident and Michael Brown incident that led to Ferguson, Missouri;  then, the formation of Black Lives Matter.  With the election of Donald Trump as president and the conflicts over illegal alien invasion and confederate statues/memorials, the news media frenzy stirred the formation of Antifa.  How can anyone not see the “mainstream news media” as “the enemy of the people?”

The tactics and techniques they have employed has certainly fomented unrest, glorified crime and violence, tapped everything as racist, laid conflict over issues at the feet of “white privilege,” and marginalized and demonized Christianity while promoting Islam.  Conservatives are viewed as the great unwashed.  Patriots are viewed as terrorists while real terrorists receive white washing, being provided all sorts of justification.  How many times has the news organizations tried to pin terrorist acts on conservatives/patriots/right wingers, only for it to be discovered the individual(s) happened to be liberal/Democrat/left-wingers?

Immorality is promoted as morality while moral values are promoted as dangerous, old fashioned and a threat to society.  The examples could go on and on;  but, the short of it is, what is good is now bad and what is bad is now good.  In one fell swoop, everything became upside down.

Sen. Jeff Flake obviously has a problem with calling a spade a spade.  Anyone with half a brain can see the mainstream media became the enemy of the people with their conscious shift from news organizations to propaganda peddlers and half-truth tellers.  What Sen. Flake doesn’t really like is the truth.  He became too comfortable with a half-truth telling, propaganda peddling mainstream media organization.  After all, he benefitted from that shift.

President Trump has not said anything that those who are awake in America have not said – the mainstream media has become the lamestream enemedia, enemy of the people.  And, world leaders who are intelligent and worth their salt know the American media has stooped to new lows and refuses to correct its folly.  But, as charlatan politicians are known to do, Flake has come out to chastise the president to ingratiate himself with the lamestream enemedia in hopes to avoid further scrutiny surrounding his upcoming retirement.  At this point, all those inside the Beltway have skeletons hidden in their closet.  He chastised Trump to avoid them popping out through media scrutiny with all the investigations currently taking place in the District of Corruption.
