State Senator: CIA Lies are Getting Harder to Believe

Virginia State Senator Richard Black (R) disputed the claims that the Syrian government has attacked its own people with chemical weapons.  He asks, like many of us have, what would have been their motive?  Black believes the CIA has lied about Syria in much the same way they lied about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, the Libyan no-fly zone and others.

In 2015, Black was designated by ISIS as an enemy of ISIS, which named him the “American Crusader.”  Black, unlike many in political office, flew 269 combat missions in Vietnam.  As a Marine pilot, he was wounded in fierce ground fighting with the 1st Marine Regiment.  He became a career jag prosecutor and ran the Army’s Criminal Law Division at the Pentagon.  These credentials give him the authority to speak on the matter of the alleged use of chemical weapons by the Assad regime in Syria.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Why is the issue important?  It’s because the use of such weapons continues to be an ongoing threat and could lead to a further aggravation of the situation in Syria.

“Syria did not gas its civilians,” Black began.  “Syrian jets were reported to have bombed Concha kun with sarin gas on April the 4th 2017.   Three days later the US attacked Syria with Tomahawk missiles.  No one stopped to ask what possible motive Syria had to kill random civilians.”

“On March 30th, UN Ambassador Nikki Haley, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and Press Secretary Sean Spicer all announced an end to US efforts to topple Assad,” he continued.  “Now, if genuine, that dramatic policy reversal was the predicate for peace.”

“In Syria, President Assad certainly would not forego this golden opportunity simply to kill some civilians eight days after the apparent peace overture,” added Black.  “Missiles were raining down on Syria, but reporters never asked why Syria would jeopardize US cooperation by attacking civilians with gas.

Black then questioned the motive behind the Trump administration’s sudden reversal and said it seemed “contrived” and a “rush to judgment.”  The reason for this, according to Black, was that the administration was relying on films that had been produced by allies of al-Qaeda, which had killed

“How can we analyze conflicting evidence, develop strategy, select target, issue order, position forces and launch missiles within just three days?” he questioned.  “The attack seemed suspiciously pre-planned.”

Black said the videos were taken by those in the Aleppo media center, which is a propaganda mill run by the Islamic rebels, many of whom are part of the Islamic State or have pledged their allegiance to the Islamic State.

“We never considered that the gas might have been from the terrorists own bombed out the warehouse, but that question was highly probative because just six months earlier the US conducted massive, highly publicized b-52 air raids on another gas complex operated by terrorists in Mosul.  We hit 50 locations during that massive air strike.”

Of course, the Obama administration denounced anyone who was skeptical of that attacks and information that led to them.

The parroting that Assad was worse than Hitler, hardly a comparison, was put out by so-called “experts” and intelligence reports, who all agreed that Assad did attack his own people.

However, Black said, “The CIA’s intelligence was both amateurish and unconvincing and it still begged a question, what was the motive?  Sacrificing everything in order to gain nothing is nonsense.  Crimes have motives, and this crime had none.”
“Even if he were willing to provoke the US at this very delicate diplomatic moment, why would Assad attack civilians with babies and not attack soldiers with tanks?” Black asked.
He then tore into the CIA and their alleged intelligence.
“We’ve heard fake CIA reports before,” Black said.  “Recall Colin Powell’s ridiculous posturing with a test-tube claiming that Iraq had sarin gas.  That lie cost a hundred thousand Iraqi lives and what of Senator John McCain’s claim that a no-fly zone would save Libyan lives?  That zone became a kinetic slaughterhouse that obliterated Libya.  So, forgive my skepticism about contrived reports that precede these disastrous regime change wars.”

Black then added, “This sarin gas claim mirrored the mysterious redline attack of 2013. With scarcely any evidence, Washington blamed President Bashar al-Assad and hastily prepared for war, but there was no motive to kill civilians with poison gas.”

“The redline allegations were debunked by Pulitzer prize-winning author Seymour Hersh, who published the red line and the ratline,” Black said.  “Seymour Hersh documented how Turkish intelligence agents had supplied terrorists with sarin gas and rockets to attack the Goethe suburb in 2013.  Turkey launched the redline attack, not Syria.”

Black further expounded, “That plot to stampede the US into attacking Syria failed because Americans refused to be tricked into another war.  On the other hand, Concha kun bypassed congressional oversight and public involvement and that enabled the execution of missile attacks.”

“The terrorists had finally won,” he concluded.  “This was our first direct attack, but we’ve trained jihadists to wage a proxy war on Syria for six years.”

He then elaborated on what we have been reporting for many years and that is the Obama administration was arming, training and funding Islamic jihadists in the region.

“CIA program Timber Sycamore has armed and trained terrorists to invade Syria since 2012,” Black said.  “Battle-hardened jihadists from camps in Jordan Qatar Turkey and Saudi Arabia have murdered Christians and other moderates in Syria before returning home to spread a tsunami of Terror across the globe.”

“This sarin gas attack was a fake,” said Black.  “The media’s failure to question Syria’s motive was a disgrace.  Syria had no reason to use poison gas on civilians and we had no lawful justification for attacking their country.  Concha kun was another link in the chain of deceitful actions against the legitimate, duly elected Syrian government.”

“America’s war on the Syrian people is cruel and morally abhorrent,” the Virgina state senator said.  “We must stop arming terrorists and end America’s proxy war on Syria.”

I completely agree with Senator Black’s comments and so should the majority of Americans who are paying attention.  Sadly, people will defend these illegal and unconstitutional actions because the man in the White House is wearing their team’s jersey, be it Democrat or Republican.
