US Looks To Dominate Snowboarding At 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang

The US is looking to completely dominate the snowboarding competition at the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang in South Korea.

Yes, I know this is not a normal post I would write about.  However, I confess that I loved to play Shaun White’s snowboarding on their video game system with them and enjoy watching the incredible aerial acrobatics of these people, especially in the halfpipe event.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

First, the US took gold and bronze in the women’s halfpipe.

Chloe Kim, 17, who parents are from South Korea, won the women’s halfpipe with an amazing run.  Take a look.

Arielle Gold earned the bronze for Team USA. Here’s her performance.

However, the men’s competition is always exciting, especially when veteran snowboarder Shaun White Is competing, and he did not disappoint.

In the qualifying round, White laid down some of the toughest runs with both scores in the 90s.

Here’s the run that earned him a 98.50 to lead the pack!

There are several other US men who qualified in the top 10, including Ben Ferguson, Chase Josey and Jake Plates.

As for White, he is attempting to redeem himself after not even making it to the medal podium in Sochi, Russia in 2014.  This is his fourth olympics that he has competed in.

Tonight, he’ll be competing for gold!
