Virginians, Do You Trust this Man with Your Healthcare?
So how many people would like for a mentally ill, gender-confused sodomite to be in charge of their healthcare? Well, the people of Virginia have exactly that in the person of Dr. Marissa J. Levine, formerly known as Dr. Mark Levine, as their health commissioner. Yeah, you are not going to hear this in the mainstream.
Virginia Mass Resistance put out a press release outing Dr. Levine. The press release reads as follows:
Yorktown, Virginia – Virginia Mass Resistance, a Judeo-Christian group, made its first public appearance today with the launch of an awareness campaign about the transgender Health Commissioner of Virginia. Information packets went out by mail to all members of the Virginia General Assembly, clergy members of Virginia as well as civic leaders. The packets included various public information items clearly showing the transformation from manhood to perceived womanhood.
In January of this year, Governor McAuliffe appointed Marissa Levine, the former Mark Levine, as interim Health Commissioner. At some point the “acting commissioner” became the official face for Virginia health issues.
“Whether or not the appointment of Levine had a hidden political agenda or not remains to be seen”, commented Linda Wall, the CEO of Virginia Mass Resistance. Wall went on to add, “In light of the eradication of 1.3 million votes defining marriage as one man and one woman and Levine side-stepping the General Assembly’s law regarding safety regulations for abortion clinics, the question arises, how much will the citizens of Virginia tolerate? ”
Virginia Mass Resistance is a Judeo-Christian group of Virginians whose objective is to resist all forces opposing the Judeo-Christian foundation of the Commonwealth. Contents of the mailer may be viewed at virginiamassresistance.com.
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
Linda Harvey at Barbwire.com provides some background on Dr. Levine:
Levine now seems to be a permanent fixture in this slot, because already he is operating like a committed liberal and trying to undo regulations on abortion clinics so those that haven’t complied won’t close.
In fact, Levine is turning out to be the water-carrier for the extreme pro-abortion policies of Terry McAuliffe. Pro-life supporters in Virginia are livid.
While Dr. Levine does on paper have an extensive background in public health, this recent decision he’s made to pretend to be a woman overshadows everything else in his life. He was a male in the public eye as recently as 2006, when quoted in the Washington Post as a family practitioner who treated “transgender” people. His own personal struggle was not revealed in this typically biased WaPo article.
“Physician, heal thyself” has never been more applicable.
Harvey also goes on to cite a Wall Street Journal article by Dr. Paul McHugh, who studied at the same university as Levine, John Hopkins University. The university pioneered sex change surgery in the US and Dr. McHugh was the psychiatrist-in-chief for years at JHU. However, the university eventually realized that those they were attempting to change on the outside were seldom better following their surgeries.
In Dr. McHugh’s article from June 2014 titled Transgender Surgery Isn’t the Solution, he wrote that transgendered people have a mental disorder.
“This intensely felt sense of being transgendered constitutes a mental disorder in two respects,” he wrote. “The first is that the idea of sex misalignment is simply mistaken—it does not correspond with physical reality. The second is that it can lead to grim psychological outcomes.”
Referring to the John Hopkins University’s decision to stop the sex change surgeries, he pointed to a 2011 study from Karolinska Institute in Sweden. “The long-term study—up to 30 years—followed 324 people who had sex-reassignment surgery. The study revealed that beginning about 10 years after having the surgery, the transgendered began to experience increasing mental difficulties. Most shockingly, their suicide mortality rose almost 20-fold above the comparable nontransgender population. This disturbing result has as yet no explanation but probably reflects the growing sense of isolation reported by the aging transgendered after surgery. The high suicide rate certainly challenges the surgery prescription.”
He then tears down the fantasy land of those who think they are not the sex they are and blasts the people who want to promote tolerance of such things. “At the heart of the problem is confusion over the nature of the transgendered. “Sex change” is biologically impossible. People who undergo sex-reassignment surgery do not change from men to women or vice versa. Rather, they become feminized men or masculinized women. Claiming that this is civil-rights matter and encouraging surgical intervention is in reality to collaborate with and promote a mental disorder.”
This merely points out the truth of what the Bible has said all along about people who engage in this and similar behavior regarding homosexuality.
“And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting;” – Romans 1:28
No matter how much one mutilates their body, they cannot become the opposite sex. Their sex is determined in their DNA.
In the end, Ms. Harvey reviews the seriousness of Levine being in the position he is in.
“The top doctor in the state of Virginia, a position presumably dependent on a clear grasp of provable science and objective facts, denies his own physical, anatomical reality as a male, instead pretending to be a female,” she wrote. “Again, his personal issues become everyone’s issue because in his high-level position, it’s no longer about him. He’s a public servant and because of the decision he’s made and all it signals, he is an inappropriate choice for such a position.”
She concludes, “This kind of government chicanery is where the real war on women exists Not only is Dr. Mark Levine pretending to be what those of us who are real women are, he is now going to make it easier for real women to abort their children? This is all too radical for words.”
Now I ask you Virginia, while Dr. Levine certainly has a history and experience regarding healthcare, do you really want this mentally ill person who acts and dresses as a woman in charge of your healthcare? This is a man, not a woman, and as such has already sought to deceive the public by claiming otherwise. Can you really trust this man to be honest with you when it comes to your healthcare? I, for one, say no you cannot, nor can you trust the governor who put him in the position.
