GoFundMe Bans Christians from Trying to Help Other Christians!

We’ve documented the wealth of trouble that Melissa and Aaron Klein of Oregon ran into when they chose to stand by their religious convictions and not bake a cake for a same-sex “wedding.” The Klein’s chose not to make a cake for a same-sex “wedding” (the couple was willing to supply baked goods of any other sort). Instead of simply going to another bakery, the same-sex couple sued the bakery and thus began a terrible odyssey for the Christian-owned bakery. The Kleins were forced to shut down their bakery after a concerted assault by homofascists who forced vendors not to do business with the couple. Then, to add insult to injury, the state of Oregon decided against the Kleins as well; and, just this past week, a judge decided to fine the couple for $135,000 in damages due to “emotional distress” that they caused the same-sex couple.

(I’m not sure how the same-sex couple could have possibly suffered more “emotional distress” than the Kleins, but no one is accusing the state of Oregon or the judge in question of having any common sense.)

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

In an effort to help the Kleins, some intrepid folks set up a Go Fund Me page to help them defer their legal fees. Sadly, the homofascist lobby couldn’t have that, so they inundated Go Fund Me with complaints about the fundraiser, and now Go Fund Me has decided to close the Klein’s page! The reason given by Go Fund Me is as maddening as the story itself –

The website GoFundMe said in a statement Saturday that it took down the page because the campaign violated the policy against raising money “in defense of formal charges of heinous crimes, including violent, hateful, or sexual acts.”

“The campaign entitled ‘Sweet Cakes by Melissa‘ involves formal charges. As such, our team has determined that it was in violation of GoFundMe’s Terms & Conditions,” said GoFundMe in an email statement.

Again, the hateful act that the Kleins committed was declining to make a wedding cake. This is what passes for justice in America today, and if you read the rest of the article on the subject at the Washington Times, you’ll see just how hateful and vindictive the homosexual activists are in their efforts to extract a pound of flesh from the Klein family.

But take heart, dear readers! There is still a way for you to get involved and help the Klein family through this rough patch. The wonderful people at Samaritan’s Purse Ministries have set up their own fundraising page to help the Klein family survive the horrible legal judgment.

Samaritan’s Purse is raising funds to help the Kleins pay their fine and meet other expenses. “They have taken a stand for the Word of God, and they should not have to stand alone,” Samaritan’s Purse President Franklin Graham said. “I believe that Christians across our nation will rally around Aaron and Melissa and their five children.

“Please pray for Aaron and Melissa, and pray for our nation. When our judges are punishing Christians for practicing what they believe, that’s persecution, plain and simple.”

If you want to help Aaron and Melissa and other Christians deal with blatant discrimination, make a donation to our “Persecuted Christians—USA” fund below.
