Judge Summons Homeland Secretary Officials for Ignoring Injunction on Executive Amnesty

Many who know the Constitution, and a few who had read it at least once, knew that the executive order made by Barack Obama concerning amnesty for illegal aliens could not float if the document was followed.  So, when 26 states sued over the immigration issue, there seemed to be hope.  However, this was for the naive who believed that this administration and its cronies were planning to obey the law.  As most of us suspected, they have not, but Judge Andrew Hanen has called them out for their disobedience.

Breitbart reports:

U.S. District Court Judge Andrew Hanen – appointed by President George W. Bush – summoned Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson and four other immigration enforcement officials to come to Brownsville, Texas and appear in court in August to explain why they shouldn’t be held in contempt of court for violating his court order.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

According to the order, all five of the officials are summoned to stand before the District Court and explain why they have disregarded the court’s decision.  But, there is a chance that this will never have to happen.

Breitbart continues:

The order requires the five immigration officials to appear at a hearing August 19th, but the hearing may never actually occur. Hanen said he would cancel it if he was “satisfied” with the government’s actions to correct work permits it issued to illegal immigrants violating the injunction Hanen had earlier ordered, according to Politico.

“This Court has expressed its willingness to believe that these actions were accidental and not done purposefully to violate this Court’s order. Nevertheless, it is shocked and surprised at the cavalier attitude the Government has taken with regard to its ‘efforts’ to rectify this situation,” Hanen stated. The judge wrote in his order:

Now, what we have to understand is that there is no dispute as to the violation by the government.

The order continued:

The Government has conceded that it has directly violated this Court’s Order in [the government’s] May 7, 2015 advisory, yet, as of today, two months have passed since the Advisory and it has not remediated its own violative behavior. That is unacceptable and, as far as the Government’s attorneys are concerned, completely unprofessional, Neither side should interpret this Court’s personal preference to not sanction lawyers or parties as an indication that it will merely acquiesce to a party’s unlawful conduct.

This is once again a reminder that the lawless believe themselves to be above the law.  They make the law and, therefore, are not subject to the law.  The idea that a lower court could shut down the president’s order is contrary to the way Obama and his government believes things should be.  He believes that he is right and better equipped and informed to rule and decide.

In the absence of God, he has made himself a god.  God does not answer to anyone, so he thinks that he should not either.  We must hope that God will show Himself mighty and bring low this tyrant.
