Now the Marxists Are Digging Up the “Racist” Skeletons of the Confederacy… Literally – But Leaving Democrat Robert “Sheets” Byrd’s Name Intact in WV

For anyone paying attention, the all-out assault on the Confederate flag and the Confederacy as a whole, even by those who claim to be conservative, is an orchestrated attempt by the Obama administration and those aligned with them to finish what the tyrant Lincoln started. Now a southern city council in Tennessee is attempting to dig up the bones of a Confederate general and his wife.

WREG reports:

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — On Tuesday evening the Memphis City Council unanimously passed a resolution to remove Nathan Bedford Forrest’s remains from under his statue in the Health Sciences Park on Union Avenue. However, there is still a long road ahead before the remains would be moved to a new location. According to the city council’s attorney, Chancery Court would also have to sign off on the removal of the remains and the family of Forrest would be involved in the decision as well.

The removal of the statue of Nathan Bedford Forrest is a separate issue. The removal of the statue has been proposed as an ordinance before the council which will have to be read before the council three times before it can be approved. From there it will be presented to the Tennessee Historic Commission but there is no timeline for when they will make a decision. The next time the commission is scheduled to meet is in October.

On Tuesday officials with Elmwood Cemetery said they would be willing to help with the moving of Forrest’s and his wife’s remains to the cemetery in Memphis but said they did not want to become the new home of the statue.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

So why now? Why have major companies like Amazon removed every single thing that has to do with the Confederate flag, including the Dukes of Hazard for crying out loud? Why has Governor Nikki Haley taken “offense” at the flag and signed a bill to have it removed, but not lifted a finger to prosecute those who are openly violating the State of South Carolina’s anti-sodomy laws? Sodomy is far more offensive and disgusting than the Confederate flag. It’s because these companies and untrustworthy politicians are complicit in the destruction of our country and our sovereign states in their cowardice. They have fallen victim to political correctness, ie. Marxism.

City Council member Myron Lowery affirmed that when he said, “It is no longer politically correct to glorify someone who was a slave trader, someone who was a racist on public property.”

So, if this is about offense caused by racism, why the double standard? I can tell you. It isn’t about racism. It’s about tyranny.  Lincoln did it.  Sadly, the Republican Party bought into it, and Barack Obama has carried on with the agenda. It’s about an Orwellian rewriting of history. It’s about stamping out the last reminders of state sovereignty and swallowing up the last vestiges that continue to stand for Christianity in the Bible belt. And true, biblical, law abiding, Christ honoring, freedom loving Christianity is the target.
