Huffington Post Proselytizes for Islam

recent article in the Huffington Post about alleged “Islamophobia” gives us a good look at how hard the left is working to give proof to their false claim that “Islamophobia” even exists.

The article by Carol Kuruvilla claims that Darlene Hider, “a mother of four from Michigan, was traveling from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to Detroit on Monday when an unidentified woman reportedly began complaining that the children were being disruptive. Noticing Hider’s headscarf, the woman turned toward the mom and allegedly said, ‘This is America!'”

Who can tell how true Hider’s story is, or even if the incident happened at all. But nevertheless, an offhand remark becomes the basis of an article at the Huffington Post — a lengthy piece proselytizing for Islam and even demanding an apology from Delta Airlines, which had no role in this incident whatsoever.

Hider immediately claims the mantle of victim: “Hider said she immediately thought, ‘So this is what [Islamophobia] feels like.'” Hider adds: “It was really difficult to be belittled and spoken down to because someone saw a piece of cloth on my head. And it was so hurtful for my kids to watch.” But Kuruvilla portrays her as noble and magnanimous, saying that Hider “says she wants an apology from the airline, but she’s ready to forgive. ‘This made me stronger,’ Hider told HuffPost. ‘Our faith teaches us to forgive, and I do.'”

Actually, it doesn’t. Hider’s faith teaches: “So whoever has assaulted you, then assault him in the same way that he has assaulted you.” (Qur’an 2:194) In other words, if someone hits you, hit him back. That is not forgiveness. But the Huffington Post’s mission in this article is to make people think well of Islam. So Kurvilla quotes Hider saying: “Hijab is more than just covering your head. It’s about covering your tongue, your heart, watching what you say. It’s about being a beautiful woman on the inside and showing that’s what counts. I didn’t need anyone to make me happy anymore, because I’d found that connection with God.”

Have you ever read such promotion of Judaism or Christianity or Hinduism or Buddhism in the Huffington Post or anywhere else?

Kuruvilla has done this before. In June 2014 she wrote a viciously biased piece in the New York Daily News denouncing my ads exposing Islamic anti-Semitism, and fawningly quoting the Hamas-tied Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), which the United Arab Emirates has designated a terror organization. This advance of Islamic supremacists on the backs of the kuffar would not be possible without Der-Stürmer-like shills such as Kuruvilla. Kuruvilla’s granddaughters will read her work and spit.

And it gets even worse. “During the confrontation,” Kuruvilla writes, “Hider said she thought deeply about the Prophet Muhammad’s example and how he would respond with love whenever anyone showed him disrespect, so she tried her best to be patient and do what the Delta employee asked.”

This is more whitewash. In a hadith, Muhammad once asked his followers: “Who is willing to kill Ka’b bin Al-Ashraf who has hurt Allah and His Apostle?” That was his crime: he had “hurt” Allah and Muhammad by saying something Muhammad didn’t like.

One of Muhammad’s followers volunteers to be his hit man, and murders Ka’b bin Al-Ashraf (Bukhari 5.59.369). This was not an isolated incident. Another hadith recounts:

“A Jewess used to abuse the Prophet and disparage him. A man strangled her till she died. The Apostle of Allah declared that no recompense was payable for her blood.” (Sunan Abu-Dawud 38.4349)

Hider ignores all this, knowing that her kuffar audience at the Huffington Post won’t know about these stories. And despite her “forgiving” pose, she is still demanding that the airline apologize for something it had nothing to do with and may know nothing about: “My next step is to make sure Delta knows that all myself and my family wants is an apology.” In other words, no shakedown this time – yet.

The Huffington Post shill Kuruvilla then goes on to write: “Public opinions about Muslim and Arab Americans have grown progressively negative in recent years, Reuters reports. According to a poll commissioned by the Arab American Institute, only 27 percent of Americans have a favorable view of Muslims. The negative feelings are strongest among senior citizens and those who identify as Republican.”

There it goes. Republicanophobia and Elderlyphobia. Public opinions about beheadings, church burnings, gender apartheid, sharia and jihad have grown progressively negative in recent years, despite an enemedia hell-bent on promoting Islam, no matter how many of their journalists are beheaded.

What is clear from this article is that you should steer clear of Muslims. Say nothing. Do not even make eye contact, as any look could be deemed “Islamophobic.” Any contact you have could be used to fuel their victimhood narrative, which is designed to deflect attention away from the grim reality of jihad terror.
