It amazes me to see how many people in this country that profess to be Christians that do not even have a clue as to what the Word of God declares, and yet, this is the first prerequisite when it comes to following Jesus Christ
“If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.” -John 7:17
It was this same Jesus who said that we are to beware “of the leaven of the Pharisees, and of the leaven of Herod” – the corrupt doctrines of both the religious hypocrites and the corrupt in government (Mark 8:15).
Jesus also reiterated the point throughout Scripture to beware of imposters, “For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ (A Christian); and shall deceive many”(Matthew 24:5).
How many today, both in the Church and in government, confess to being the opposite of their professions, not realizing that they are one and the same? Yet, Jesus told us over and over again to judge them by the fruit that they bear.
Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? -Matthew 7:16
The cycle of what we see in America today is just that, people praise the Church and the government for what they say and yet, fail to judge them by the fruit that they bear.
Friends, the very definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
Paul tells us in 2 Corinthians 11:15 concerning ministers of Satan: “Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.”
In conclusion: for those who still have not figured out the game that is being played between the left and the right by ill designing men (Ephesians 4:14), they are on the same team and working for the powers that are tolerated, and yes, you have other options.
