Pastor Derek Carlsen suffered in Zimbabwe under the tyrannical reign of Robert Mugabe.  As an elder in his Church, Carlsen called out the lawlessness of Mugabe and his government.  Narrowly escaping with his life, Carlsen spoke at Matt Trewhella’s County Before Country conference in November 2021 on the subject of the duty of elders in the face of a tyrant government.
