Many people are into what they call “prepping,” but what is prepping for many used to be a way of living for many and still is for many today.  The ability to grow one’s own food and be able to live off their land is one prong of a three-prong approach to freedom (the other two being owning land and the ability to defend).  I’ve covered many of these in a prepping series which you can listen and view here.  However, I ran across an informative video that may be helpful for those new to homesteading and for those who are old-school experts at it and it’s about how to preserve food from your garden without pressure canning.
