How Do People Get Parasitic Brain Worms Like The One RFK, JR. Had?

Did you know that years ago, Robert F. Kennedy announced to the world that a parasite ate a portion of his brain and died in his head?

This is probably a lot more common than you think, and it does remind me of the biblical story of Herod, who upon speaking to the people in a shiny garment, was declared to be the “voice of a god and not a man.”  Because he would not give God glory, the Bible says that he was struck by an angel and was eaten of worms within days (Read Acts 12).

My friend, investigative journalist Jonathan Otto has recently commented on what happened to RFK Jr. as well as provided a free ebook you can download to help you understand what is going on and how you can either prevent or deal with the problem if you have parasites.

Otto writes:

We were ALL shocked when we heard Robert Kennedy Jr. say that he once had a PARASITE in his brain.

I mean, you don’t get to hear something like that every day.

He had memory problems and thought he might have a brain tumor.

Scans in 2010 showed a cyst in his brain that doctors said was from a parasite.

This news got a LOT of attention.

But a while after I had read those breaking news…I thought to myself…

‘How does one even get a super germ like that in their brain?’

I began to search and search, and I found an interesting follow-up article on the RFK Jr. story…

Where Shira Shafir, an expert on diseases, said she received many messages from her friends in the field of parasitology after hearing the news.

The truth is…

The WHO estimates that between 2.56 million and 8.3 million people worldwide have neurocysticercosis…

A brain infection caused by a tapeworm.

So this is generally a BIG problem.

Clinton White, a disease expert, says this infection is especially a big problem in Latin America, Africa, India, and parts of Asia…

BUT it’s not limited to those parts of the world. Even people in the US have it!

And it often causes seizures.

When Scientific American spoke with Shafir to discuss how parasitic worms actually infect the brain…

This is what she said…

“We generally don’t have adult worms that end up in the brain. What does end up in the brain are parasites in their earlier developmental stages, such as eggs or larvae—or, for lack of a better word, baby worms. So generally the parasitic infections that can impact the brain are those of pathogens in early developmental stages, which, for the most part, accidentally make it into the brain.”

”They can then end up in any organ throughout the body, but most commonly they go to the subcutaneous tissues, as well as the brain and the eyes. So if you eat raw pork, you get a tapeworm—that’s an intestinal problem. If you come into contact with fecal material from a person who has the intestinal tapeworm, that’s how you end up with this neurological manifestation.”

What’s worse is that when the tapeworm T. solium infects tissues in the body…

It causes a disease called cysticercosis

If it infects the brain, it’s called neurocysticercosis

Usually, the larvae don’t cause many problems and eventually die.

BUT those that reach the brain can live for several years.

The infection creates small, balloon-like cysts about the size of a centimeter. These cysts are clear and filled with fluid.

Sometimes, they can grow large enough to block the flow of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) in the brain.

This is gruesome…but what touches my heart, even more, is that the medicine school…

Doesn’t teach conventional doctors how to deal with parasites, and that’s why they often misdiagnose people…

And NEVER get to the root cause.

That’s why I decided to write a BRAND NEW book, The Body’s Silent Monsters: The Parasitic Path to Cancer…
