In this episode, I welcome my long-time friend from New Mexico, Pastor Gordan Runyan. Gordan authored the book Resistance to Tyrants: Romans 13 and the Christian Duty to Oppose Wicked Rulers (God and Government), which, in my opinion, is one of the simplest books to give to someone to understand the Bible’s teachings about resisting tyranny and Romans 13. Gordan points out that tyranny arises as the people move further and further away from the LORD. The call then when we see tyranny arise is to resist and repent before the LORD and trust Him to heal our land and work in us to that end.
