Azerbaijan, a country The Liberty Sentinel has visited to cover the United Nations COP29 climate summit, has battled Armenia for decades over the Nagorno-Karabakh region. During that ongoing struggle, Armenian Christians in the area have experienced genocidal persecution at the hands of the Azerbaijanis, a Muslim people.
