Much as with Glenn Greenwald, there are a whole bunch of issues with Harvey Milk. One is that he lured a teen to run away from home and then pursue a sexual relationship with him. The much bigger one is that he was a close ally of Jim Jones, whose radical leftist ‘temple’ turned into a vicious cult that went down in a bloody murder-suicide spree.

Milk’s name should never have defaced a US Navy vessel.

However, Medal of Honor winner Nancy Pelosi disagrees.

“The reported decision by the Trump Administration to change the names of the USNS Harvey Milk and other ships in the John Lewis-class is a shameful, vindictive erasure of those who fought to break down barriers for all to chase the American Dream,” Pelosi complained.

The ‘American Dream’ in San Francisco consisted of luring runaways into sex and then killing children. That’s not the American Dream. It may be her party’s dream, though.
