The merging of two unconstitutional agencies, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) has got to be the absolute worst idea… unless, you’re a criminal.
Yet, this is what the Trump administration is advancing.
Keep in mind that the DEA has been involved in some notorious attacks on the rights of the People, enforcing unconstitutional laws, and raiding wrong addresses, often causing injury and trauma.
The ATF is no better. They have engaged in illegal gun running that left two federal agents dead, a police chief and countless hundreds of Mexicans and other Americans. Yet, not one person has been held accountable and brought to justice in that entire debacle.
Instead of combining them, they should both be abolished… and frankly, so should the central government.
