Trump Continues Weaponizing DOJ: FBI Creating Watchlist Designating Millions Of Americans As Extremists
Talk about weaponizing the Department of Justice! I thought the Trump administration said that’s what Biden did! Can people not see now that both parties are your enemies?
In a not-surpising revelation, the FBI has unveiled a watchlist designating millions of Americans as extremists. This list, leaked by investigative journalist Ken Klippenstein, highlights the widespread targeting of individuals based on beliefs and ideologies.
The unconstitutional FBI’s documents, which reveal the list, put front and center the agency’s indiscriminate labeling of individuals as potential threats. This report comes on the heels of the Trump administration’s NSPM-7, which aimed to categorize common beliefs and activities as potential indicators of extremist behavior.
Klippenstein writes:
Attorney General Pam Bondi is ordering the FBI to “compile a list of groups or entities engaging in acts that may constitute domestic terrorism,” according to a Justice Department memo published here exclusively.
The target is those expressing “opposition to law and immigration enforcement; extreme views in favor of mass migration and open borders; adherence to radical gender ideology,” as well as “anti-Americanism,” “anti-capitalism,” and “anti-Christianity.”
That language echoes the so-called indicators of terrorism identified by President Trump’s directive National Security Presidential Memorandum-7, or NSPM-7, which the memo says it’s intended to implement. Where NSPM-7 was a declaration of war on just about anyone who isn’t MAGA, this is the war plan for how the government will wage it on a tactical level.
In addition to compiling a list of undesirables, Bondi directs the FBI to enhance the capabilities (and publicity) of its tipline in order to more aggressively solicit tips from the American public on, well, other Americans. To that end, Bondi also directs the FBI to establish “a cash reward system” for information leading to identification and arrest of leadership figures within these purported domestic terrorist organizations. (The memo later instructs the FBI to “establish cooperators to provide information and eventually testify against other members” of the groups.)
The payouts don’t end there. Justice Department grants are now to prioritize funding to programs for state and local law enforcement to go after domestic terrorism.
In a section titled “Defining the domestic terrorism threat,” the memo cites “extreme viewpoints on immigration, radical gender ideology, and anti-American sentiment” — indicators that federal law enforcement are instructed to refer to FBI Joint Terrorism Task Forces (JTTFs). Those JTTFs are then instructed to “use all available investigative tools” in order to “map the full network of culpable actors involved” in both “inside and outside the United States.”
The memo also directs the FBI and JTTFs to retroactively investigate incidents going back five years, authorizing the JTTFs in particular to use everything at their disposal to do so.
“Upon receipt of these referrals, the JTTFs shall use all available investigative tools, consistent with law enforcement internal policies and statutory obligations, to map the full network of culpable actors involved in the referred conduct inside and outside the United States,” the memo says.
According to the leaked documents, individuals can be labeled as extremists for simply holding beliefs or engaging in activities protected by the Constitution. This includes possessing certain religious texts, or expressing dissenting opinions, which are protected under the First Amendment.
The FBI’s designation of millions of Americans as extremists raises serious concerns about the erosion of civil liberties in the united States. This arbitrary classification of individuals based on their beliefs threatens the God-given rights written in the Bill of Rights of the US Constitution.
The People must remain vigilant in the face of this kind of tyranny and the targeting of individuals for their beliefs. The Bible commands us to stand up for justice and to defend the rights of the oppressed. In Proverbs 31:9, it states, “Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.”
Moreover, the Constitution protects the rights of individuals to freely express their beliefs without fear of persecution. In Article I, Section 9, it states, “The privilege of the writ of habeas corpus shall not be suspended, unless when in cases of rebellion or invasion the public safety may require it.” This clearly makes the right of individuals to challenge being labeled as ‘extremists’.
The widespread labeling of individuals as extremists based on their beliefs sets a dangerous precedent and threatens liberty and justice.
If President Donald Trump was on the People’s side and the law he swore to uphold, protect and defend, he would shoot this down, but it’s his idea!
The problem here is that this is not the first time. We have already witnessed how the unconstitutional Department of Homeland Security and the military have targeted 72 types of Americans as potential terrorists in the past. This latest threat, and it is a threat, is simply a test to see if the American people will join along with them now, or encourage their tyranny.
In the end, the real terrorists are those pointing the finger at others. Oxford English Dictionary defines ‘terroris’ as “government by intimidation”. Isn’t it time we threw off the same kinds of tyrannical terrorists that those who came before us threw off?
